Definitely want to see him land in a better situation to close his career, maybe back with the Wiz. He’s liked here in DC both by the fans and players.
I'm struggling to understand why the mainstream media is on a crusade to crucify Russ. Its actually pretty sickening. I already knew ESPN was an agenda driven shambles but its more diabolical than I could've ever imagined

Your fixation on weight in odd. I guess we should just ignore the 7 blocks per 36 minutes Manute Bol averaged his first 4 years in the league because he was about 200 lbs.
Last year when both started.

Bamba 78% FT
Carter Jr 69% FT

73 attempts vs 207 attempts but Bamba shot them better.

Better rim protector and better free throw percentage... yet he's on the bench in favor of a worse player that scores more.

Do the Magic coaches know this?

And again... Bol had height...not size. Brook Lopez is size... Mo Bamba is only height.

Heard on radio that Bucks and Jimmy Haslem are in talks for Haslem to buy 25% of the team. Really don't want the Bucks to sell part of the team to a guy who's owns the worst NFL team in the last 25 years.

Better to have a known quantity than not. I like the pick up.

Mitchell and Mobley just absolutely destroyed the Pelicans tonight. Mitchell looking like that groin is starting to heal up.: Cavs looking damn good. I love it.

If I told you that a ~7 footer in the East put up a line of 28 pts, 13 rebs, 2 asts, 3 steals, and 2 blocks on 72% shooting, you might think it was the guy who plays in Milwaukee.

The greatest part of the win tonight is Darius barely played. This team at its best is just as good as any in the NBA. You and I both know it. The others on this board might laugh. But things are looking good for the Cavs.

Victor in Spurs black and white just seems right. But will he be enough to make them good?

Honestly I think the 4 best teams may all be in the East. Cavs & Sixers just look better than the top teams in the West to me. The offense & defensive versa lift of those teams is crazy, compared to the West teams which are too offensive focused or in the case of Grizzlies, are not top tier offensively.

Garland is so #@#@#@#@ing elite setting up other guys. When you really watch him it's incredible.
Not to mention in his last 10 games or so might be near 60% from three.

He got into foul trouble and only took 6 shots, but showed once again that he doesn't need to shoot the ball to impact the game.

In addition to the streak he's on now, he is 5th in the NBA in +/- at +300. Only 3 Denver Nuggets and Jayson Tatum are in front of him

Last couple games the Cavs have started to look like last year when they were at there best: having a balanced scoring attack. There shouldn't be a game again this year where one guy takes more 3s than Allen + Mobley get shots combined.

Love watching Garland play. He sees the court unlike anybody else right now.

What would you all think a good ceiling for this Cavs team is this year with everything wide open? Like what kind of finish would make you go yeah that was a good year?

ECF - though they're good enough to possibly make the Finals too. But ECF should be satisfying for them, and then try for a Finals run next year.

I agree with this. That being said, at least two of the: Bucks, Celtics, Sixers, and Cavs will suffer a letdown of a season by not making the ECF.

if 3 Nuggets players are in the top 4 in +/- then that's good evidence that +/- shouldn't be used for any player comparisons

Grizzlies offered 4 1sts for Mikal Bridges. It is unclear whether they were protected

The Hornets are prioritizing keeping PJ Washington and Miles Bridges for next season

The Jazz, Pacers and Spurs are expected to make a run at Jalen McDaniels in the summer

Teams expressed interest in Grant Williams and acquiring his bird rights. The Celtics are not expected to match offers over 15m for him

The Celtics never offered more than 4/50 for Williams

The Mavs and Suns are expected to be interested in getting Terrence Ross if he is bought out

Half of the teams in the league reached out to the Wolves for Jaden McDaniels. All were unequivocally shut down. There are eyes on extension talks between McDaniels and the Wolves around the league

Bones Hyland was involved with talks involving Jalen McDaniels and the Hornets, Cam Reddish and the Knicks and Taurean Prince and the Wolves before he was dealed to the Clippers
^NBA intel bullets from hoopshype. The McDaniels extension fits perfectly in line with my theory on D'Lo being salty too. He was not only not being prioritized as a 'top 3' player for them, I think he wasn't top 4. McDaniels is already a tremendous POA defender and only getting better. Wolves FO probably has a pulse on what value OG was holding too and want to extend JMcD asap.

The Grizz offering a treasure trove for Bridges is interesting too. Likely means they weren't/aren't planning on retaining Brooks next year.

Or it's good evidence that their bench along with Malone's rotations have been god-awful. T Bryant and Reggie Jackson along with getting rid of Bones should help that.
