pretty sure the golden mirror refers to the back of the card not the front. My guess is that might be a rainbow foil just horrible video quality.

His disappointment hitting that non Rc Julio insert was funny though....." Oh I see green hope it's someone good.....awwww "

I may have missed it in the thread but are the mirror gold cards going to be the only short prints? I don’t see the usual SP and SSP image variations on the checklist, my guess is the mirror gold has replaced those.

SPs and SSPs were never on the checklist - they were, however, on the pack odds, but they aren't this year. So I'm assuming they're gone.

Leaving out all of the SP and SSP, including the highly sought after vets would be a major disappointment. Given how Topps has bungled so many recent releases, I won't be shocked.

getting rid of the regular SPs is a stupid move. On a metaphysical standpoint, how can something be super short printed, if there are no regular short prints? Arent the SSPs just SPs then?

I wouldn’t be shocked but considering these are super hard pulls I would be shocked if at least regular SPs weren’t a thing. I’m just hoping my legends are still a thing because those went away for a while.

Something tells me to throw a wrench in the bounty announcement that the Golden Mirror variations will take place of the traditional SP and have 3 tiers SP, SSP, and USP. Thus making the complete 990 card set that much more difficult to make. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if after all is said and done that it will only be possible to put together 5-10 complete sets.

Haven't we already seen the J-Rod one that clearly says SSP on the back ?

Certainly a possibility. In that case, what was once a Ken Griffey Jr. SP is now a Paul Sewald SP, assuming SP is still printed to the moon the value loss in the lower quality SP names would be awful...

Okay so the big question is, with the bounty alive, how much are these thing going to resell for with people maybe attempting the feat?

From low tier players to top tier?

I recall some other FB set by Topps years ago where large bidding wars were in play for scrub players cause people needed it for the set to redeem for something.
