Started reading The Silent Girls Book by Eric Rickstad. It's a detective story. I can say that it's an interesting one, but a little bit hard to read for me, because there have been nothing that interesting so far

Swan Song by Robert R McCammon
Second time reading this and it's still as awesome as it was 30 years ago. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

I read that a long time ago and then got the rest of his books, but somehow never got to them. I loved the uniform design of the paperbacks. They were really eye-catching. What's his next best after "Swan Song"?

I remember liking Boys Life. I think I actually Goodwilled a bunch of McCammon last summer… including Swan Song. I agree the covers were great.

i think I read "Stinger" back then, too.
I'm pretty sure I already have it, so I'll give "Boy's Life" a try when I catch up on Stephen King. I'm around three books behind on him currently.

It's astonishing how few of his stories have been adapted for TV or movies.
"Nightcrawlers" was done for the 1985 Twilight Zone revival (and it was very scary for TV), but that's about it.

I’m currently on my third trip back in time myself. It’s by FAR my favorite book of his, and I’ve got them all. BIG fan, especially his pre-political preaching days.

If you grew up on Marvel Comics anytime from the 70's through the 90's, these are equally heartbreaking, but nevertheless worth the read.

![]() A fascinating read on the biological underpinnings of why we need and love music. Written by a Grammy winning sound engineer who went on to get a PhD in neuroscience.

Scientists continue to debate the origins of both play and music. Where Levitin argues that music isn’t a frivolous byproduct but an indicator of health, I take the same view of play—something which signals to parents that their offspring are healthy. |
