Default Different People, Identical Cards in Same Order?

I want to send in a submission to PSA together with some friends. We want to submit identical cards. Can I put them all together in 1 order? I know you can send identical cards, but is there a way to differentiate whose card is whose?

I can put a group of my cards then a group of my friend's cards in the order then submit it to PSA. Would we be able to tell which is which based on the order of the cards when it comes back to us? So the order would look like:

Card A
Card B
Card C
Card A
Card D
Card F

I hope that makes sense.

Cards come back in the order you send em. Once in a while they aren’t but 99% of the time they are good.

yea thats how group subs work. as they are received by the subber, they are loaded into the submission. you can have card A by owner 1 as the first card and card A by owner 2 as the last card. they dont need to be "grouped" by year or type. they "should" be assigned a cert number in the same order as they are loaded on the submission form so when they return, they should be able to be divided up properly.

Only issue is if the person opening the box or doing the research and ID drops or jumbles the pile... Then they will refer to the list to put them back in order, but then the dupe's might get switched. Heck, I once had PSA swap flips on Topps and OPC gretzky's that were the same card, but not in succession in the sub. I'd take pics of the dupes if you want to be on the safe side, if you can tell the difference.

I would say it's risky. I believe this is the reason COMC decided not to use PSA, they couldn't guarantee the cards would be kept in the correct order. So do this at your own risk. You could break each duplicate into a separate submission, to be more sure.

That’s why they stopped with BGS.

They stopped with BGS mainly because the submission times ballooned from two months to a year in very quick fashion. Maybe that was a secondary reason, though.

COMC and BGS have a make up break up relationship and it is tiresome. Maybe they're done for good. BGS sued COMC for using their proprietary pricing data a while back but then did the grading agreement before, as mentioned, that was ended.

Yes. That said, they have had a tendency to shuffle the slabs in the actual shipment for whatever reason. My grades have always been in order but the certs in several of my recent shipments were not.

Same reason I stopped using BGS. Of course, PSA wound up in the same predicament for a multitude of reasons. I'm glad COMC is trying new ideas. It's been a great place to unload cheap stuff I simply do not have time to deal with on eBay or elsewhere.

PSA should grade them in the order they are listed on the submission form, so doing as you put in your first post should be fine.

If you're really worried about similar cards getting mixed up, then break up the submission into multiple smaller ones. The bulk price only requires 20 cards minimum, I don't know how many cards you and your friends are submitting, or how many of the same card(s), but there should be a way to do it so everyone is happy.
