That's an unobtainable answer since the reds aren't numbered.

Retail Red Estimated print run is ~20 if I am not wrong. The total graded pop (both PSA and BGS) is 24 and this likely includes a few crossovers and resubmissions. I would say an estimated print run of 20 to 25 is more accurate.

The WORST stuff to buy is the higher end stuff.. Becuse people plan to hold for months at minumum, if not longer. This is where I've seen people lose the most money since 2021/22.

We keep seeing these "iconic" cards of the GOATs, not only declining, but re appearing auction after auction to decline. They slowly just keep getting recycled thru Goldin/PWCC, selling for less and less each time.

As buyers think they are getting deals or good prices, then 2 months seeing same card pop up and fall 10%-20% ....its scaring away more buyers from wanting to take a risk on anything higher end. How long doe this go on for is the ?

Instructions unclear, I am now living in a structure created from 2017 Donruss base. Thankfully I invested in 2020 Prizm Lebron bass which should pay for my children's college tuition.

We can safely assume no one was dropping 50-500k+ on high end Mahomes cards in '21-'22 who couldn't afford to lose it all, and yet they are down gobs of value right now. Not just Mahomes but Lebron, Jordan, Brady, and countless young stars. Billions of dollars of value has been lost across the board on cards purchased in '21. And there was millions of cards purchased in '21.

I bought a Burrow for 27k that is probably worth 15k and a Herbert for 37k that is down to probably 20k. Big oofs on my part.

Meanwhile flipping bas Panini 104s and Optic 177s keeps paying consistent returns.

So much wrong with the market at 5 figs and above. Speculation, shill bidding, no true collector base. All people in it for the wrong reasons. Rack up bass hits to score runs, don't be a Joey Gallo

The modern ultra high-end pool of buyers proved to be very shallow, and full of people who didn’t care all that much about the cards. Only took a few of them leaving to turn that segment of the market on its head. Going to need reentry of that money to turn things around.

Sold off my Mahomes RC and made a profit. Sold them due to a crazy wife that can only hurt him and his card values, and she is certified nuts and look at me. End of the day collect things you enjoy and like - if it goes to zero you will still enjoy them.
