Surprised the first year of Flair Showcase hasn’t made an appearance yet.

Always loved this card - the vicious dunk over Zo, the other-worldly background, and the coloring and chrome just pops in hand!

2009 Upper Deck Goudey Sport Royalty Michael Jordan (5 total cards)

I saw the auto on eBay back in 2016. It really caught my eye. Nothing truly special about the design, but I just loved the look.

Base SP

Mini Green

Mini Navy Blue

Mini Black 06/21 (6 Championship Rings 1/1 )

Man, how can you just not love all MJ cards. They are all iconic. I tell people that any kind of Jordan collectible is basically gold. Over thanksgiving, me and my brother opened a box of 90-91 Fleer and of course he pulled all 3-4 of the Jordan's in the box, but the old ones, the rare ones, the crazy expensive and all in between, Jordan cards are the best.

He also brought the remains of a box of 90-91 Hoops, 91-92 Fleer that he opened and all those Jordan's bring back the memories of when I really first got into cards.

And I also agree about that 92-93 UD Jordan. That's gotta be one of his most popular base cards. I remember pulling one in a card shop back then.

WOW!! Beautiful Card. Rare to see a Gem grade on this one with all the normal surface issues. I have a PSA 8. I'm Jealous!

I've done this MJ thread and a LeBron thread on the same theme, but do any hardcore Kobe and/or Steph collectors wanna do threads for those two (presumably the next two players on the all-time most-collected list)?

Jordan was so photogenic as a player. Paired with the fact that his career coincided with the 90s card era, and you've got a lot of great looking cards.

I love this card. It has a simplistic design but it just works and is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

SPx Finite Spectrum, 88F All-Star, 95 Mystery Finest (the dunk on Zo), 09 UD Sports Royalty. This last one is the cheapest, kinda plain which has some virtues.

I see the Bron thread didn't generate nearly the same level of interest.

Probably my favorite actual pic of MJ on a card (design aside) besides the “lightning” Scoring Kings.

There’s just something awesome seeing Greg Anthony looking defeated like that with Mike soaring over him

So many good looking MJ cards. The way he played, the way he controlled his body always looked cool.

Maybe we should ask what are the worst looking MJ cards? Those may be harder to find.
