Does anyone know why some guys signed a portion of their base autos in silver/gold pen and not blue? Just a random occurrence (they grabbed a different pen) or are these the alternate pattern cards?

I really like Inception this year but I also like colored lights on my XMAS tree so I’ve been told my taste is questionable. ��

Bought a couple boxes just to check them out. Decent looking cards but I still can't figure the difference between pattern I and pattern II, to be honest.
