Don't have pics handy, but his 1991 Skybox and 2009 Goodwin cards are both gorgeous....

One of the best looking sets in general. Just wished they didn't forget to include Magic. Was there some kind of licensing issue with him at the time? Would have been great if they included him in the Epic Signatures set that same year, but at least they got him in the 2008-09 update.

Jordan cards from 1995 and prior are the most pleasing until all the dizzy and dumb designs came on the scene. Take a card like 1988 Fleer All Star, and 1990 Hoops... some pretty sexy cards. Even the 87 Fleer Sticker. Cards like that.

seems like a bunch of his best-looking cards are of him in his red "away" jersey, why is that? He wore his red jersey for his slam dunk contests, even in his home stadium. I may have mentioned that on TV in the Finals (esp. against Phx '93) under the lights those red jerseys looked nearly crimson, this deep red that shaded slightly towards purple.

His 86F card & sticker, his 87F card & sticker, his 88F card & All-Star card, the initial Hoops issue & the follow-up. Red. He went from the white wristband to red later on, though he went to black late in his career.

I don't much care for cards with that black pinstriped jersey he wore for some late '90s games.

referenced upthread but the image has disappeared. I tracked it down; it's 2009 Upper Deck Hall of Fame Class of 2009 #HOF09

As Checklists go.... I've always been partial to this one (I wish it were a refractor)...

And while Conventional Wisdom has spoken and declared these Post 1995 designs to be Dizzy & Dumb.....

I'm going to go out on a limb with a few that haven't been posted yet.......

Finite 98 is one of my favorite sets of all times. So many good memories ripping these open back in the day. Super underrated, no autos, no rookies, no pump

great dunk photo, can barely believe I've not seen that one yet. compare/contrast with the one below (I picked up both of these cards, bluestreak has taste)
the flair texture in person looks soft-glittery, quite nice

Maybe we should ask what are the worst looking MJ cards? Those may be harder to find.
Co-sign on the cool body movement. The highlight reels tell the story. The only things missing in his game were Celtics specialties: Russell's controlled blocks, Larry's trash talk and long-distance shooting.

As for bad-looking cards, garish design helps.

as I scour ebay for pretty MJ cards I realize how many MJ junkies there must be out there who UD catered to with gobs of MJ-themed sets, esp. in the '98-00 period. Catch-23 might be the most cleverly named one.
