That is what I had to do, but it would help to have an edit, especially if you put the card. Wrong.

is there some type of sale going on right now? I see bulk at 10.80 and I'm not elite.

Might be a system glitch, they are upgrading their systems right now. I noticed I couldn't see anything on the pop report earlier.

Just had my bulk received on 02/09 pop so doesn't look like their system upgrades are slowing down the actual grading process.

Shipped a 6 card Standard order yesterday and it is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. This will be a Kirill exclusive submission. The TAT is predicted 7 days. We will see.

Getting together a vintage bulk order or two. I really wish that CSG didn't use crimped plastic sleeves. I have a bunch of wrinkle free 1951 Topps Red/Blue Backs I would love in their slabs.

Hopefully they one day run a free auto/thick slab special. Have a lot of HOF autos I would love in their holders. Paying $2 for each auto and $5 for a thick slab adds up quick!

I did a direct CSG submission from COMC at $15 and it did not go well...

Those are some of the toughest cards to grade. There is an edge flaw on the back, right in the middle.

I would contact COMC if you bought the card raw from someone on COMC and didn't send in yourself. COMC guarantees that the card should grade an 8 or higher according to their policies of purchasing cards.

Not only is the grade bad, but it got thrown into a crimped plastic sleeve. Double disaster!

Here was the back for reference.

Thank you, that's super helpful. I'll contact them now.

I checked their FAQ about grading with CSG and they don't guarantee any grades. I'll poke around further however.

Below is their "Buyer Guarantee"

"Prior to listing, our expert team carefully assesses each item to represent it accurately. Please review the description and images prior to purchase to ensure this item meets your satisfaction. Unless otherwise noted, all Vintage trading cards manufactured 1980 and before are in Excellent (EX 5) condition or better and all Modern trading cards manufactured after 1980 are in Near Mint-Mint (NM-MT 8) condition or better."

"Returns are only accepted on the rare occasion the item is not as described. Return requests can be made within 14 days of delivery. Returns must be postmarked within 7 days of approval."

In my opinion if CSG wants to have a grading deal in place like this, they need to do a better job of looking at the cards. You bought a card that was not as described and CSG's grade reflects that. If COMC wants to offer this service, they better be ready for lots of issues like this.

A company that actually cares about collecting and its customers. What the hell is CSG doing??? We all know grading is just about ROI. Why didn't they ask you about flipping CSG slabs or selling them on eBay? BTW, being super sarcastic here.

On the CSG page about status of submissions they dont have any status for

VERIFIED

what is that exactly ... guessing just means they verified the order, and its before grading? idk ............

You can see the edge damage along the bottom only under 10X magnification. The foil is slightly lifted.

I knew you were being sarcastic because unlike many I select CSG over the other big grading companies because they have the best and clearest slabs. Collecting should be fun first and ROI somewhere down the line.

The reason is because the CC has not been charged. I got that notice today, so the grades should show soon. At least when I reached out to them via the chat system on the boards I got a reply today.

The TAT will be off, but my grades were in within the 7 day timeframe. Has there not been an ongoing update to their site I am positive they would have hit their numbers. Cannot ship cards with them being paid for.
