This whole PEDs thing is a show for the public to believe everything is above board. Some people involved in pro sports may care about some of these drug or social issues that pop up in society.

But make no mistake, a vast majority (owners/players/executives, etc...) care most about one thing: $

I was told millennials don’t care if athletes cheat with PEDS, those players are admired by them for doing everything they can to win.

Wait!

There were actually people who thought Lebron was a "natural" athlete while playing 1,400+ NBA basketball games and missing 70?!

And you know, having access to the world's absolute best doctors and PED specialists because he has a billion dollars?!

He must have stopped because he’s hurt now.

6 pages on a Chael Sonnen "quote" taken out of context

given the push for the highest quality of play shouldn't they allow for substances that help faster recovery? all the injuries should be made up for somehow

Without looking, I'd guess Brady and Jerry Rice?

And Wilt's individual stats/records are legendary. Everyone knows he scored 100 pts in a game.

What's the NFL equivalent to that? Sayers scoring 6 TDs in a game? I doubt ppl outside of football/Chicago even know the name Gale Sayers (unfortunately).
i've heard of sayers, sid luckman, sammy baugh, norm van brocklin, bronco nagurski, that's about it

brady has over 600 TD passes so yes

Rice would definitely be the all-time TD receiver, isn't it over 200

I watched the whole interview…not taken out of context. He has the same drug guy as lebron and takes EPO according to him. He likely takes HGH but not testosterone as the only athlete to take the “big 3” (test, hgh, EPO) was tiger woods according to him

I did a little digging on Rice. I know he's already considered the greatest WR but by the numbers, it's not even close. There's so much QB love these days, but I'd consider Rice up there for consideration of NFL GOAT.

And in terms of card values, I think he's underrated. Might have to start picking up some Rice stuff....haha

I don't think there's anything wrong with that. He's just trying to prolong his career and entertain fans. He's been having problems staying healthy in recent years regardless, so I don't know how much it really matters in the grand scheme of things.

And I don't know why anyone assumes Kareem and MJ didn't take stuff. They both played at a high level and were very durable well into their 30s -- that's not normal.
MJ is suspect look at his body in his rookie season and then he realized he needed to get stronger and gained 20 pounds of muscle and shed 10 of fat and maintained his gains throughout the season.

Anybody who has ever lifted weights knows running and jumping are complete opposite of what you are supposed to do maintain weightlifting gains. A typical weightlifter is supposed to rest and do minimal activities or they will injure themselves or burn of the gains.

IFBB ignores PED usage, powerlifting doesn't test their athletes and all leagues less Olympic sports are very lax about their testing but they do bring down the hammer because of PR reasons.

This! It's for public relations and that's it. If the big 4 leagues were serious the next time a star player failed a test or a national news agency broke a story about X players were visiting drug gurus they would have a inquiry formed or ask the government to investigate the situation.

Baseball had their feet held to the fire by having their anti-trust status pulled if they didn't crack down on their idiotic PED users who many of them looked like WWE wrestling clowns.

He added muscle at age 26-27 which was after the 2nd Pistons loss. I don't know if he used stuff or not, wouldn't shock me, but its not unheard of for guys to get stronger in their 20s. Its not like you hit your peak muscle mass at 18.

Add in Giannis.

At the end of the day, all of these athletes should be pushing the boundaries of sports science.

Legal or not.

LeBron is running around like a 27 yo. It's hilarious if people think he isn't doping or doing something next level.
