I dont think Kyrie or Luka is to blame. I think its the owners fault for thinking this would work. The Mavericks desperately need a Power Forward or Center who could rebound and play defense, bring some grit to their team. Instead he went out and got a redundancy of what he already had.

Luka may be scoring still but if you watch him on offense when Kyrie brings the ball down, he stands there waiting for something to happen. Luka is at his best when he is the one dictating the offense. The Kyrie signing was idiotic. Dallas doesnt play defense, they dont rebound well, and at this point they are just a weird free form offense.

I dont understand their insistance on playing Dwight Powell who adds next to nothing. If they are smart they will let Kyrie walk and bring in Nikola Vucevic or Andre Drummond as a free agent in the offseason.

I actually think Kyrie is playing well. But they’re even more one dimensional than they were prior to the trade. No consistent third options. No interior presence. This team has just been awfully mismanaged from a personnel standpoint.

Please don't act like you know me..I'm not a Luka investor...I'm a fan of him..I collect his cards.I don't have a budget so no I don't have "thousands" invested in the guy. My bigger Luka cards are packed pulled and I've had them since his rookie year. Didn't sell during the boom. Anyways you're being disingenious and you know it. You wanna discuss Luka because the mavs are terrible and he's hurt. Bringing up Ja is ridiculous bc he's being talked about because of off the court issues.
