Bold 2023 Playoff Predicitions

Usually first round sucks in the playoffs but this year East and West could be good.

I like Heat and Raptors for the low seeds in the East.

And in the West Warriors, Dallas, Clippers, Lakers and Pels with a healthy Big Z, whoever gets in, for the low seeds in the West I think all have shots at the conference.

We got under 20 games left, lets see how this thing shapes up, which teams start to come into form. Knicks and Bucks certainly getting there, Grizz, Clippers and Celtics unravelling abit. Lakers, Warriors and Pels need to get healthy and play a few games all together.

12 games left. Raps have 2 against MIL, final 2 against BOS, 1 against PHI and MIA.

Pretty easy next 5 though, with just 1 against MIL.

It should be a good warmup for round 1 matchup. I'll see if I am bold enough to make a raps upset soon...

hh, we are still a ways out, give it some time to Heat up. I may have been a touch too early, getting excited though. I think we will see like 3 or 4 upsets first round. Usually its like 1 if we are lucky.

I think it was Chuck saying MIL in the Finals (against DEN, although he sounded less sure about that, but he didn't say GA-RUN-TEED! about MIL either...an injury to a Khris-level role player can make the difference)

It's always hard to bet against GS in the playoffs, but they are so very bad on the road this year idk what they can do as a low seed.

I think Kings will win their 1st round matchup with home court...I guess that leaves Memphis as a possible upset pick. Which I could definitely see, as Ja will be back next week but who knows what he'll look like. As unhinged as ever? As low a bbiq as ever?

4/5 in West will be good no matter who it is. I kinda think it will be Phx/LAC, and should be fun to watch a potential Kawhi/PG vs KD/Book slugfest. If Denver takes care of business vs the 8 seed they should be well rested to take on whoever wins out of the 4/5.

Yeah, I was watching the Pacers game and seeing how they lost with all there big 3. I think Brook Lopez is pretty crucial for them. Also I don't know about Middleton if he is back to top form. Team might be getting a little old... Trying to pick at cracks here but I think they are beatable.

Can't wait for raps v. bucks tomorrow with all expectations thrown away, nothin to lose on the backend of a back to back with MIL on 3 days rest.

Warriors need Wiggins back and Lakers need Lebron, I like the pick, throw in the Clippers and Dallas as well and bottom 4 trumps top 4.

Denver gets bounced by the Lakers/Warriors in the 1st round. Teams figured the Nuggets out.

Their defense isn’t good enough to win the conference. Jokic is below average and gonna get high PnRd to death, MPJ may as well not even be out there, AG/KCP are good individually but when you’ve got 3 non defenders and no rim protection you have no chance.

For as amazing as Jokic is individually, I don’t think the team is well constructed around him.

To really make a deep run they’re going to need to outscore teams and that means Murray is gonna have to be dropping a 40 piece every other night

Yeah, we will have to see about Denver, they could be coasting a little. Be interesting to see if they can step up on D and if we get Bubble Murray.

MPJ is in a weird place after his benching because he wasn't playing D and got mad at the coach. Said some stupid sht. Is he gonna play D? Is he gonna get benched? Pretty tough to have a 30 mil guy or whatever not playing for you on not too deep of a team...

If Ant and KAT get healthy, bold prediction is Wolves make the WCF... that team is ridiculously stacked if everyone got right soon. Jaden McDaniels doesn't get enough recognition and Conley was a great pick up w/ Slomo off the bench. Reid is nice too. Gobert still sucks tho. I blame him if they don't LOL and yes I agree with past comments that trade was awful. What could have been if they didnt get Gobert's bum ass. He gets exposed every playoffs in the pick and roll.
