$300ish I believe. That was peak Gary V. I sold every single one that I had the week of the big Gary V “buy” pump. It was glorious.

I hate to "flex", but rather share as a highlight of the hobby boom AND Soto's peak: I sold 2x Base Chrome Update PSA 10s for $1,050 on eBay I believe preseason 2021.

Man I wish I had screenshot that. Absolute madness.

How did they figure out that swinging on a hitters count is “what you should do” if you want to “hit” a baseball.

In 2-3 weeks, they should also start going. Warmer weather and getting used
to each other. Soto will be hitting like crazy! Tatis in the lineup will be awesome.

......Ok.... How long before I stop believing?

Am I kidding myself that there isn't a line a mile long waiting for the next hot
streak to sell every Soto card they have? Will someguy ever post again?!

These are crazy times!

I honestly have thought about selling any. He's a PC collection. The other Bambino worded it well in his post last week.

The great thing is more of his cards will now get in the hands of fans and kids.

Fewer "Good eye, Juan!"

More "Swing the stick, Juan!"

These things take time.

I think one thing people forget to think about. Because Juan walks so much when he gets hot his average goes up at a much higher rate than others because he has so many less ABs than everyone else from walking. Let the boy get hot for a month and watch those numbers turn faster than you can imagine. Rendon used to do this all the time. Slow first half and by szn end he was hitting 280+ with 900+ OPS

He might get hot and rebound. But we're not looking for a solid player here. The card prices have been pricing him as an all-time great, and there's nothing that stands out in his career so far to warrant that insane amount of hype.

He's fun collecting, great guy, but his career might end up looking like the aforementioned names that started smoking hot and then regressed into average and solid baseball players.

Nothing to justify $40,000 for some of his top rookies.
