Giannis ties Kareem for Bucks record of most 50 point games in a season. Crazy thing is Giannis 3 50 point games came in a span of 6 games.

Kawhi and PG were exhausted, having played 2 days before

When Gianni’s’ jumper is working he’s so deadly. He looked great last night.

Bucks are on a 7 game winning streak with Giannis averaging 39.4 ppg and 14.7 rpg over that stretch. Add a triple double tonight.

Giannis and his brothers buy into ownership for Nashville MLS group. Their father was a pro soccer player at one time.

So Nashville vs Kansas City is Giannis vs Mahomes!

If I cared about soccer this would be my dream.

Shockingly disappointing season. Misses 19 games for load management. Still can’t stay healthy in the playoffs. Gets upset by a play-in team.

Going to be a long 12 months for his cards waiting for something positive to happen.

Fk it I hope the cards tank a bit in the offseason. Dude can switch to granny free throws for all I care. He just can't be that much of a liability to close out games. He literally couldn't hold the ball late cause the Bucks would auto lose.

I don't see his cards taking much of a hit, maybe 10-20% at the most. He's well established as a blue chip in the hobby. Fully agree that he needs to figure some stuff out. He's 28, it's now or never.

One Heat player wanted it more than the entire Bucks organization.

Bucks thought they were gonna ease into the ECF and play the Celtics. Jimmy Butler had other ideas and you could tell he wanted it WAY more than any player on the floor for the Bucks. He took over Games 4 and 5 and it was the difference. The FT bug that bit Giannis a couple years ago reared its ugly head again this series. The Heat bodied up the Bucks and the Bucks had no answer. The flippy shots that work in an 82 game season weren't falling and it cost them. You have to show the other team you mean business and the Bucks said... nah... we're ok.

This Bucks team could look VERY different at the start of next season. Brook Lopez is a free agent, Khris Middleton has a Player Option (It's $40M - probably won't find that elsewhere with his recent injuries) and Jrue Holiday has 1 season before he has a Player Option. I also heard that Giannis has the opportunity to sign another extension or something and if he declines... the Bucks organization as we know it will no longer exist. It will likely mean he will look elsewhere once his contract is up... likely prompting the Bucks to trade him so they don't lose him for nothing.

Bucks were recently sold so another owner has to OK the spending and no one really knows what he will do. These next 4-5 months will be interesting for Milwaukee.

Packers traded Aaron Rodgers a couple days ago and now Milwaukee could be a completely different squad soon. Things are changing in Wisconsin.

2 teams sat Superstars in the first round.... both of those teams are sitting at home. Kawhi was injured but Giannis?? If he could have played Game 3 he should have... can't change that now.

Does Budenholzer survive? Sat Giannis and had a few head scratching moments where he didn't call a timeout. Heat 13 point run in Game 4 and tonight with .5 seconds left to set up a hail mary type shot before OT.

Grats Miami Heat

Just from this sure. But you also have the offseason and continued cooling of the hobby as well. We shall see.

Grats Miami Heat
I feel you, man.

As to the bolded parts -

Haslem was the only owner on Earth willing to give the only fully guaranteed QB contract in league history to a known sexual predator, so there's that....

I think Bud's toast. He's a great guy, but there are too many unforced errors on his part. Aside from our championship run, folks in MKE haven't been impressed with his style and execution.

This. I know it's a team sport. But Jimmy took this series. He know's his window is shutting fast and is doing everything he can to hold it open.

I want to believe he just couldn't go. But if it turns out they were just being overly cautious/confident... that'll be a terrible look for every decision-maker in the org. You can't save yourself for something that might not be there. 16 games.

I think people will be shocked and disappointed
Personally don’t see a good time to sell until they come out hot next season

Way more than that. You’ve got 12 months before anything happens to give his market positive momentum. He could win MVP next year and the Bucks finish first in the East, and the narrative will still be “well, they lost to a play-in team last year”.

The Giannis index is down 43% the last 12 months. But with how everything is trending in the hobby, I don’t see any way he doesn’t lose 25-50% from here by this time next year.

Giannis needs and will demand changes or he will force himself out of MKE. This is a old team that needs to find young talent to put around Giannis.

I think regardless of winning or losing another 20-25% is just the market regardless outside of really key stuff.

It’s all going down. His NT Gold BGS 9 sold for $162k in December, down to $90k four weeks ago. What does that do today?

There’s just no getting around how badly everything is getting hammered. And I think we’re going to see true panic selling in the second half of the calendar year.

Sure, trade to the OKC for a boatload of picks and more, then the Bucks can trade it's remaining players of value for more drafts.

I feel like there are a lot of people that don't truly understand Giannis. I can't see him demanding a trade or wanting to trade anyone like Jrue or Khris. He's going to stay loyal to the Bucks and to the teammates he's had thus far and had success with, almost to a fault (like KG in Minny).

That being said, I'd love it if the Bucks figured out a way to pair Dame with Giannis as that sounds like a deadly duo.

Back injuries are notoriously tough to come back from. Saw somewhere that the minimum time missed with the injury Giannis suffered has been 5 days and can often lead to lengthy absence. I don’t see anyway he sat game 3 if he could have played at a decent level that night.

Agree. Giannis is a different kind of superstar. You can even hear it in his response to the "is this season a failure" question last night. Other guys can say the same thing and come across as defensive or disingenuous. But I believe Giannis when he says it is steps to success. This kind of mentality (thinking of the positive when everyone else sees negative) is a refreshing change from the constant you're either first or last mentality we've adopted in sports.

He's loyal but also seems to focus on what he needs to work on first instead of blaming others and asking for changes.

That being said, I think Bud takes the fall for this (someone has to). And as it relates to sports cards, I also agree Giannis stuff is going to fall. Speaking of which...I need to move a PSA 10 Prizm RC....
