Ok, so question for you experienced VIP goers.

Deadline is tomorrow. Do they extend the deadline since they have not announced where or when this is going to happen?

What is the protocol if you register but then can't go? Can you still sell the ticket and then change the name of the person originally signed up to go?

In my experience- They don't extend deadline, no. They will let you transfer name but obviously person at the event must have ticket and match the registration info. OR, they will mail you the goodie bag stuff in to original ticket holder if requested.

So in theory, you can still sell the ticket after you have already registered?

I was not aware that they would just send you all the VIP swag if you request it. Are there any packs/boxes/goodies you would be missing out on if you don't go? Like certain stuff available only if you are present?

Thanks for the good info!

In theory, yes. This info was from previous events so am not sure if something has changed, but we've had events where date didn't work or travel issues and were able to transfer/request stuff mailed in.

No clue on that front, without going to the event and comparing the in person goods with the mailed in goods I have no idea. Previously they have done raffles at events that you would obviously miss out on, but each event is slightly different so I have no idea if raffles were done at the recent events.

They have allowed late RSVPs in the past, absolutely. In addition to the "we still haven't announced when and where" issue, there is also the whole "we practically just released it, people haven't had time to sell their tickets, heck some of the cases probably haven't even been opened yet" aspect.

I believe in the past they also allowed transfers of an RSVP up to about a month out.

Really the only reason they wouldn't be able to allow transfers even closer is because they usually give out a custom engraved memento with the attendee's name. I imagine if the transferee is willing to forgo that, they'd even let you transfer later. (The only other thing tied to attendee name is the hotel reservation which can easily be updated.)

As for missing out by not attending, they generally raffle off a handful of boxes of various products (at Bowman this year I finally won one - a box of Finest) as door prizes, so of course you have to be there to win those. Otherwise you get the full package shipped to you. And of course you miss the photo op!

Re details - From what I have read the details haven’t been released in advance in the past. The Bowman Transcendent was 4-5 weeks prior to the event. Topps did tell me it was likely late June to mid-July. I assume nailing down the player drives some of the logistics issues.

You can 100% transfer your ticket for whatever price you sell it for. I bought a ticket to the Harper one off of blowout and that person transferred the ticket. It was smooth, had no issues.

Slightly off topic, has anyone identified good options to store the oversized cards from this product.

So, you are not holding firm at $3500? You are willing to pay less?

I've got a booklet case from this ebay store, I like it quite a bit. I haven't used their Transcendent case, but can't imagine it would be of any lesser quality.

ebay.com/itm/193889166492

I went to a local frame shop and had custom frames built for mine, which are nicer, but were of course WAY more expensive.

Did not get any email here. Where are people getting the Seattle info? If it is there, hope it's Griffey!

They said it was Seattle. Pretty sure it’s typically a current player (JRod). Griffey doesn’t live in Seattle

Any confirmation on J-Rod yet?

Also, can you take your own items to be signed by whoever it is? I mean, I could understand maybe one item, if that, but anymore would take forever.

Yes to J-Rod. No to taking anything to be signed (that's been the rule for a while now).

Look forward to seeing some of you in a couple days! Should be fun, especially with the way that J-Rod has been lighting it up recently. I extended my stay a day and will be going to the Mariners/Royals game Friday night as well.
