Talking Biggest Zetterberg Mailday one could EVER have (ONE of ONES)

As the title states, what you're about to see is what can only be described as the best Zetterberg mailday one could ever have (outside of having multiple shields come in at once).

I will try to keep the story behind this mailday short and sweet. Back in 2011 I was in the early stages of getting back into collecting (as you can see by my start date). During that time I was researching who and what I wanted to collect. As a Wings fan, I decided to go after Zetterberg (and Datsyuk). As I was researching what Zetterberg cards are out there, I stumbled upon HI Member Zätta-Nr1's Website that hosted his entire Zetterberg collection. Needless to say I was in AWE, or what I was looking at; a COMPLETE Zetterberg rookie year collection with ALL pack inserted 1/1's! Upon seeing that, his collection is what I aspired to chase. Fast forward to a few months ago, leading up until this week, with stellar communication, trust and respect, Zätta-Nr1 and I made a deal with one another that lead to the mailday you see below. The One of One's that I fawned over a decade ago, is now coming full circle and are now cards I can call my own. It honestly feels like a passing of the torch to me (in the realm of rookie year only).

Another good thing to come out of this is that Zätta-Nr1 and I have partnered together, and I will be helping him move some pretty big cards in small batches at a time. So please keep an eye out for a sales post coming soon to a theatre near you. The cards for sale are cards that I have IN HAND myself. The only thing I can say for now are that they are cards one would salivate over (myself included but I'm not in that tax bracket lol). Stay tuned to either an update or another show and tell post of such cards. I just want to solidify some details before truly exposing them.

For some who may ask, where does my Zetterberg collection go from here. While I already have a large rookie year collection, there are PLENTY of low end odds and ends that I still have left to pick up in order to get to 100% as was my original goal. I still need the Young Guns Exclusives /75 as well as a few Topps parallels /100, but my main desire is to just focus on finding Jersey Numbered copies of rookie year cards 40/xxxx or 15/xxxx. While I'm sure I also have a large percentage of the 1/1 show stamp cards now, I'm still looking for any that I still need, but I have yet to create a legt master list of such cards.

Also, if you're looking for a instagram profile to follow, you're more than welcome to check out my profile there. That is where you will see the most up to date album of cards I am picking up.

This was a welcomed condition upgrade to the copy I already own. I would be ideally looking to trade this toward a Datsyuk Emerald Rookie /10

This is the main non one of one that I truly wanted the most, as this card eluded me for far too many years. So I'm really stoked to add this.

This was a nice jersey numbered upgrade. The original copy /75 I have will be for trade toward Datsyuk

This is a card that I have only seen ONCE since 2011. This is not an expensive card, but one that could easily be stored in dollar bins, or maybe get thrown out, or were redeemed in general, as you will see from the back of the card. I am REALLY happy to add this, as this card was honestly one of the cards I wanted the MOST.

Great pick-ups, Timothy Wong. Nice story about cooperating with the other Zetterberg collector. Player collecting is fun.

I know the feeling of adding rare stuff like this to my PC… very well done, and a great story on how they came into your collection.

Really nice pikcups, and congrats on that amazing 1/1. The variety of those Zetty cards are impressive! Those show stamps can be tough after so many years.

Thank you guys!!! The whole mailday haul was exciting but as a lover of show stamped cards I was truly excited to add so many in one shot. It’s just so rare to see so many in one collection as many don’t give show stamped cards any thought.
