Default eBay Sale. Weird Address and Scam Alerts on Google!

1140 River Rd
Apt 7071319
New Castle DE 19720-5106
United States

So a buyer bought around $700 in cards, I get ready to ship it and notice the Apt Address, quick Google map search and it's an industrial complex, a few more searches and the address seems to have a lot of Scams attached to it from various site. They have a bought a lot of stuff from various sellers, and no feedback I saw said anything about issues. But if it's an industrial complex why is there no suite? Just feels like this is a Chinese buyer using a forwarding service that sounds like a pain!

They also asked for a tracking number, which was uploaded so not sure why they would ask for it!

Probably a forwarding service. Doesn’t necessarily mean all the people using it scammers.
But…

There were a few other threads on here with the same address and a quite a few when you Google that address that includes other sites. I think I will pass and refund. Seems all the same story, gets delivered, person opens a return, and then never ships anything.

What is the forwarding service located at that address?

My guess is that it's fine. A lot of international buyers are using these and I haven't personally had any problems. I do get fake accounts using these types of addresses but they are buying 99 cent cards to make it seem like it's a real account to pimp up buying their other cheap Chinese goods.

If they open a return and don’t ship anything, then the return should go in your favor, no?

We have a lot of customers do this, I ran a quick search of our eBay messages in our emails and have over 1200 customers asking for a tracking in the last 3 months and we ship next day and tracking is automatically uploaded.

No reason to refund at all.

It is a forwarding address instead of people using the GPS they use this.

If they open a return and never ship you are out the money.

We just ran a search we have shipped there 87 times in last 4 months and not an issue.

How would they be out the money if they never ship? I’ve only had a handful of return requests. The one time the guy didn’t send it back the case was decided in my favor and no refund had to be sent

I am going on instinct. $500 is too much money for me to take a chance on an address that has more than their fair share of fraud issues attached to one location. I had one guy use one of these location, he bought $1 cards, he used a different account for each one, each account had almost no or very low feedback and each account had and English name and the buyers name was Asian. Each account was also an older account, pre 2008. I call eBay, they said ship it... no way I can sell 50 individual cards from the same set, to 50 different buyers all with the same buyer name and all going to a forwarding address. I'll take the negatives over a $500 hassle any day. There is a reason I don't ship internationally. To many people handling the package.

Just reading through the various issues on google was enough to turn me away from shipping these cards.

Looks like a scammer (maybe operating in China). I'd guess they have a rental space/office at the industrial complex. Maybe trying to build ebay feedback for multiple accounts, setting up fake websites, and/or scamming sellers (returns/refunds).

You were shipping in US not internationally and I bet you ship to other forwarding addresses and dont even realize it.

You were covered unless you somehow wouldnt have the cards delivered to Delaware.

Just as heads up this can cause you to be reported to eBay and suspended, we had a customer in this pickle with 25000 feedback and did about $12,000 on eBay a month. eBay suspended him and they told him, he cant cancel just because he doesnt feel comfortable. He got let back on 6 months later with a $1000 a month selling limit.

Not a scammer, it is a forwarding address plain and simple.

It's a Forwarding Service Known as "S F Logistics Limited"

We surprisingly have had customers and other people that we have met that wont ship to PO Boxes. Because all PO Boxes are apparently scams.

If it was a low value card, no problem, even up to $50 I'd take a chance, but $500 is another story, I did send them a message through eBay, they have over 2000 feedback, but after 2 Business days I haven't heard back, again raising more questions. I appreciate everyone's input, that is why I asked about it. But after weighing my options, and not hearing from the buyer, I have to protect myself. Other than a few people on here saying ship, there are more people that have had a poor experience with that exact address. Even after cancelling, I haven't heard a peep.

Send buyer our way when they respond, so we can offer them free shipping and gain their business. Thanks

Will do, but I don't see any Deadpool sketch cards in your inventory... if they ever message me back.

this address is definitely scam, do NOT ship to this address, they will immediately open a claim as unauthorized!

Unauthorized claims are the easiest for sellers to win but they are not always the fault of the buyers the banks and cc companies can file these as well. As long as you ship to the address you are almost 100% covered

I have shipped many items to these addresses and only had one or 2 issues that resolved in my favor

when it is a chargeback from the credit card, it is almost impossible to win. even if you show proof of shipping.

I ship to forwarders all the time, this one though is different. just google the address and see page and pages full of scams listed on google.
