Hard to say. Lots of rumors floating around and it looks like they have some merit, but no confirmation. Does look like Young, Stroud, and Levis are all possibly not included going forward. Weird thing is that Anthony Richardson is also a Fanatics exclusive but doesn’t look like there are any issues with him. So may not be a direct Fanatics thing if that makes sense.

It would all just depend on the deals each player signed. Russ WIlson, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, T-Law, Joe Burrow ETC all are exclusive to Fanatics. But their deals just cover memorabilia. They are free to sign cards for other companies.

They even brought Brock Purdy into an exclusive last year.

And even if a player did sign an exclusive for both. Panini could discuss an arrangement to secure autos via Fanatics for their cards.

But no deal would stop Panini from making cards of anyone under the NFLPA right now. Just limit their ability to gain signatures from those under the full exclusive.

In the select draft picks mock-up on cardboard connection there are autos of the big qb’s so I think you meant to say mosaic draft picks

Flawless autos of Stroud and Young in Chronicles.

I have a feeling that Panini had something under their NIL that let them have autos in their college jerseys but fanatics is going to block their pro jersey autos. Maybe the instant fell in some grey area since they aren’t pack pulled or are draft cards. Nobody knows for sure but there is evidence something is up. But it’s all speculation until the first pack pulled licensed autos show up or don’t don’t.

Oh yeah understood. Just doesn't make sense (at least on the surface) that they'd lock up 3 to this "exclusive" and then leave Anthony Richardson out.

Almost willing to bet at this point though that the primary goal for the 3 aforementioned guys is for them to hard sign the base RCs for Fanatics, which then get slabbed and thrown on their site for insane markups.

It would be strange, if they didn't offer a deal to Anthony Richardson. I bet they did, and he just didn't take it.

Sometimes private dealers would offer more for an exclusive than Fanatics wants to pay. Sometimes an agent will tell the player not to take it, and hold out for more money. Or to just take as many private signings as they want, for a better total payout.

Im sure one of those 2 is what happened here. An exclusive is always tricky. You dont front the money, but rather agree to a total.

I'll offer someone $25,000 a year to sign their name as an exclusive. But break that out to 3 public signings and 2 private ones. Both with send ins. And the player only gets paid after each signing. So it isnt a lot to front. Just $5K after each.

If someone blows up, like a Brock Purdy did. I'd be rich. As I'm sure he would have taken a deal for much less after he got drafted. If I gave that deal to Isaiah Wilson, who was nearly worthless after he was drafted. I'd have to pay him all the money, and wouldnt even waste items getting signed.

I’m confused. Chronicle Draft had autos for the big QBs. Mosaic Draft did not.

Select Draft comes out soon. Cardboard connection lists them on their initial checklist and there’s even mocks, but no mention of them on the Panini product page.
