Just don’t know about Panini draft anything at this point. I prefer Bowman stuff if it includes NIL guys, not just soon to be NFL rookies

I will want to review checklist, but would probably prefer Chronicles Draft over this because 1. More variety (more fun to rip) and 2. chronicles has ALWAYS had several subsets with on card autos of RPS guys

This was fun last year. Was affordable until Purdy mania hit. Always good color and numbered stuff. Chronicles Draft just became so bad with the condition problems I couldn't do it any more.

Does releasing on National weekend help or hurt the initial popularity of this product? Meaning is it forgotten about with people looking for National coverage? Or does it gain in popularity because all the National YouTube personality may be breaking it live and doing box wars, etc…?

Never thought I would be a buyer of this, but I ordered 5 hoping they snuck in some special cards like Chronicles Draft did with the Flawless cards. Probably setting myself up for disappointment, but it could be fun.

Agree. Prizm DP was a great product. I haven't been able to connect with Select DP the same way, for whatever reason.

With those special cards, first Panini 2023 football release, and everyone but Levis having autographs right after release Chronicles Draft Picks hobby is at or below $125 a box. There are some sales barely over $110 a box. FOTL boxes you can buy on dealernet cheaper than the sellout price. The cards look great and are nice and cheap for singles buyers.

Even if everyone but Levis has autos in Select Draft, big if as Stroud and Young autos aren't on the FOTL listing, can't see any reason hobby won't be available for way under $175 a box pretty much right after release.

At the time of the mock up Levis autograph rights may not of been Fanatics exclusive.

I guess Panini could surprise us and have Stroud, Young, and Levis autographs in Select Draft. Don’t know why they wouldn’t be on the FOTL listing but Zay Flowers and Smith-Njigba are. Regardless, doubt it helps much. All the licensed Topps 2023 collegiate cards seem to be hurting value of Panini ones in the niche collegiate market.

Having those 3 with autographs in Mosaic Draft would have helped with the box count on that product only around 5,000 boxes.

Shouldn't all of the draft releases come out before the draft? We've known for a couple months what team these guys are on. It just seems odd to have all of these come out way after the draft.

What’s odd is FOTL specifically did not say that.

Rumors were the contracts they had with the top players ended already which is why Stroud autos were dumped on the rewards site and Flawless autos were out in chronicles.

I’ve said this from the beginning: unless they are totally shelving Flawless Collegiate I thought it was VERY telling about the future of Stroud and Young autos being in future products when I saw them in Chronicles Draft. There’s no real logical explanation for this.
