Does anyone know if BGS will still grade "missing serial number" cards? Have a 90s backdoored PMG that I'd like to get stabbed. PSA won't touch them. Not sure if BGS still does.

10 card order (collectors special w/ subgrades)

Received: 4/06/23
Shipped: 7/28/23

First time I used them for dual auto/card grading and a coin (1964 hank aaron all star) - I was pleasantly surprised. I think I will only send them these type of items or patches from here on out. I don’t know if it’s just me but for regular cards, I think it’s easier to get a BGS 9 than a PSA 9 but harder to get a BGS 9.5 than a PSA 10 (if that makes sense)

Postal delivery date: July 7th
BGS order received email date: July 10th
Your order is about to be graded email: July 18th
BGS order complete date:

Today marks business day 20 and my order hasnt been graded yet. Looks like this will go over their estimated turnaround time. Anyone else having a similar experience with a standard submission? If so, how many business days has it been for you.

I'm already on business day 17 and I doubt my cards will be graded within the next week. The unfortunate part is that Beckett sets an expectation of a 10-20 day turnaround time, but they can't even meet the longer end of this range. Why do they even state 10-20 days? Is it to prevent losing more customers? Or to suggest to the customer that they might receive their cards back in 10 days? This company is digging its own grave. Unless someone steps in and buys this company, I don't see a bright future for Beckett.

Did anyone submit cards at the National to be shipped back to them (Standard Service)? Has anyone received a notification of BGS receiving/logging them in yet?

It's shocking how inconsistent they are. I've had a standard sub with 10 cards be returned to me within 8 business days and then this 1 card sub going over 20. It really just seems like they have 0 staff management. At the moment they're dealing with their new Las Vegas location and all of the event shows they're going to. They don't train their staff well, they don't schedule their staff properly during busy times, and they barely respond to emails. It looks like they need a complete overhaul of their HR department because this is the single handed main reason they're losing market share. At least I guess I'm kind if glad they didn't lose my card. Hope we both get our grades back next week

I submitted a few items for BAS Encapsulation. I did not get any notification or anything, but I paid via check and my payment cleared today. Soooo.. at least I know my stuff got there and is in the process.

It's even more suprising when considering that they used to have guaranteed turnaround times. Did they just forget how to do that from a process standpoint? I can't imagine that they are grading more cards now than before the pandemic.

Not to mention the fact that their grading is wildly inconsistent, too. Maybe not as bad as PSA--not remotely as bad, actually--but if you submit Mint+ to Pristine cards, you either get all Gem+'s back, or you get all Gems with min Gem subgrades and not a single Pristine 10 subgrade. It's really frustrating!

I sent my PSA and BGS order on 4/24. PSA came back in June. I sent another PSA order in June, that one comes back this week. My BGS order still isn't done...

Base/Collectors has been at 4 months (80 business days) for a while now, 2 months to get job id (email grading starting) from received date as usual. People always complaining like this is something new.
