Hi will they be returning your cards to you in a single shipment, or will the reholder and grading sub be returning separately??? I have a few 9.5 GEMs to reholder, but not sure I want to pay $20 to have 3 cards returned when I will be having a 30-card card grading order there at the same time.

I emailed customer service a few days ago, but have not heard back from them, or is it better to call them on the phone?

My entire sub was a reholder order, no new grades, so it will just be 1 shipment back to me. I do know they consider reholders separate from new cards being graded and will ship the cards back separately with 2 shipping charges. I would say definitely call them and see if they can do anything to combine it into one order.

Just spoke with CS on the phone and the rep said as long as I am getting a re-holder that is valued under $10k my re-holder + grading submission should come back in the same shipment. I'm not confident about that based on website wording, but I guess I will find out.

How long are cards usually in the "quality control/finalized" stage.

I dropped off a submission at the national and both my economy and express orders hit that status yesterday morning.... Just getting anxious and wanting to check my grades, even though I suck at submitting and probably getting 8's.

After reading others posts and seeing my own 3 orders progress there isnt the biggest similarity to really guess tbh.

ie. hard telling, but overall they are fast so just worth being patient.

I think National has added to the time for the most part since some graders were there.

As my bulk is taking a bit longer then I expected. However who knows maybe they'll prioritize some drop off subs simply because they "could be" new customers.

I'm neither.

A wow what a nice variety in your sub. That Rockne is awesome! I have never seen that McDavid from Black Diamond and boy does it pop with the uniform he is wearing.

their scans do the cards justice, the labels look better in person than in scans due to brightness scanning etc.

That McDavid looks amazing! Oriole can say what they will, but CSG has the clearest slabs! I will continue to use them for my PC.

C'mon CGC, get slabs that can house vintage cards without those stupid plastic sleeves! Waiting on my COMC order to arrive in a few weeks to put together another submission. I have a few 50 to 52 Bowman I want in slabs, but those will wait until I can get them in an appropriate slab.

Thanks for the kind words , the McDavid does pop. I am not 100% sure but I think it was his first true exquisite RC. The others were just thrown in so incase something ever happened to me the family should have an easier time selling.

First time sending in cards to CGC.

I sent in a submission of 15 cards using the Economy service (15-day) and the submission still hasn't showed up but the package was received by CGC. I sent it in on Monday 8/7 and they received it on Wednesday 8/9. How long usually do they open the package and begin the process?
