49ers are in a win now mode. At the end of the day, Trey is a project and needs play time to develop. No question the trade for Trey by the 49ers was a big mistake.

49ers were just trying to get whatever they could for Lance.

Dunno why the 49ers were so quick to pull the trigger though. Why not wait a couple weeks and see which starting QB(s) gets hurt?

49ers get a lot of flack for giving up so much to draft Lance, but they should also get a lot of credit for finding a starter (possible long term starter, possible franchise guy) with the last pick of the draft.

As long as you get your QB, that's all that matters. How you got him and how much you had to spend to get him doesn't matter as much as actually getting him.

Did not matter if a starting QB got hurt no one is trading for Lance to make him a starting QB if that happens and likely they they were not getting anything better then a 4th no matter what.
