With the change to the PSA tracking system, rolling QA1/2 into grading and charging earlier instead of at the end, how will this impact you guys?

Quick question for the PCSportsCard team.
I have some cards to grade and some graded cards I want to consign. I notice your address is the same for both services. Could I consolidate both packages into a single parcel and mail out to you guys? Or do they have to be in separate mail outs?

You can send them together - just be sure that inside the package the grading and consignment is clearly separated and labeled to help with processing once it arrives. Grading subs should have the sub number on it.

That order is currently in grading. There was an issue with the updates. We fixed the problem and it will update normally now.

Questions:
Is there any DV limit for the base submission?
Is it still around 20-25 days turnaround time or is it getting longer?

Seems like BGS is behind a decent amount; an earlier post mentioned that BGS Base 2023.55 is close to 40 days.

I currently have a submission in BGS Base 2023.57, and I'm still in the assembly stage

Looks like that 20-25-day turnaround is going to be 40-60 business days for the BGS Base.

The 20-25 turnaround does not include time in the mail. As a reminder we don’t pop it until it’s 1 day away from the office after grading is complete. Also, it’s business days and I’m sure some of the days you are talking about above have been holidays which don’t count. In general I’d think it actually takes 30-35 business days.

Also, the stages are relatively useless (which I’ve said a lot) because BGS hates actually giving realistic updates. It will be in assembly until it’s back.

Had my guys run the numbers on the above mentioned subs.

“BGS Base 2023.55 was received 8/1 and completed 9/6 - 27 business days.
BGS Base 2023.57 was received 8/15. At 22 days as of today”

Hallelujah 2023.213 finally popped!

If I just want to pay for my order with existing credit, does your system automatically do that or is there a button I have to click? The only button I see is "pay with paypal."

Usually they automatically take the cost from credit.

Reply back to the invoice email you received and tell them you want to use your available balance to pay for the submission. It looks like we take it automatically because when the charges for the submission are applied to your account it will automatically lower your balance, but we don't process it that way unless you tell us. Nice to know. I guess because I have been doing it so long, I thought it was automatic. I will remember to answer my email whenever my 3 orders pop, especially the 47 days in grading one. Lol
