This is becoming fairly likely now which is truly ridiculous.

Though Trout has regressed a bit with the inability to stay on the field the last few years, his active years have been the measuring stick in terms of which player gets the "hobby love"....the chase for Trout 2.0 so to speak. Ronnie's current season is right up there (if not greater) with Trout's three MVP years (2014, 2016, 2019).

Trout's basic stats:

AL MVP
2014 (age 22): 115 runs, 173 hits, 36 hrs, 111 RBIs, 16 sbs, .287 batting average
2016 (age 24): 123 runs, 173 hits, 29 hrs, 100 RBIs, 30 sbs, .315
2019 (age 27): 110 runs, 137 hits, 45 hrs, 104 RBIs, 11 sbs, .291

AL MVP runner ups
2012 (age 20): 129 runs, 182 hits, 30 hrs, 83 RBIs, 49 sbs, .326
2013 (age 21): 109 runs, 190 hits, 27 hrs, 97 RBIs, 33 sbs, .323
2015 (age 23): 104 runs, 172 hits, 41 hrs, 90 RBIs, 11 sbs, .299
2018 (age 26): 101 runs, 147 hits, 39 hrs, 79 RBIs, 24 sbs, .312

Ronnie's stats after game 1 today (19 more games in season):

2023 (age 25): 130 runs, 195 hits, 36 hrs, 95 RBIs, 65 sbs, .336 batting average

At this moment, Ronnie's walk totals is greater than his Ks (77/76)...such an amazing turnaround in his walks/Ks ratio as well as his batting average...nobody can take those away from him or make some kind of weak excuse to downplay that.

TBP, I'm sure that you have discussed before, but what are your top 3 cards to grab that have decent availability?

Mine would be
Sapphire - low print run, but there always seems to be multiple available
Bat down
Heritage action

3-4 Sapphire available at decent prices are honestly not that many.

Agree on the Red. He was asking for avail cards. Gold isnt found easily but you will never see a Red avail.

Surprised this Japan platinum went for $1055!! I wasn’t after it, but hope you got it. I’ve only ever seen 2 of the flagship platinums sell publicly.

Nah, I wrote it off assuming it would go for more than that. Oh well. I probably wouldn't have gone after it anyway, trying to be responsible.

If I were responsible I wouldn’t have half the Ronnie cards that I do.

Love it!! Not the same as the TC Red chrome, but happy to have the TCU Red. Also pictured my best 2018 TC.

I've shown this one before, but here it is again. One of a few cards I have that I won't ever sell.

Here’s a good chuck of the current flagship collection. I do have a ton of extras of the 2019 US220 card. Hoping he makes an appearance in 2023 Updates. Didn’t realize I was missing 2022 Vintage or 2021 Mother’s Day until I took the pictures.

"foilfractor" is a paper superfractor. Similar pattern, but on a paper card rather than chrome.

The "Active AU" moniker actually stands for active player autograph.
