A flooded night of moments!

Braves superstar, Ronald Acuña scored his 132nd run of the season with a two-run home run in the fifth inning to break Dale Murphy’s modern day franchise record. This longball also set an NL record for most homeruns hit by a team. It has been a storybook season for Acuña as he continues to lead the Braves into the postseason.

Phillies slugger, Bryce Harper recorded his 1,500th career hit as he hit a long home run over the center field wall. This hit made him the sixth player ever to record 300 home runs and at least that many base knocks over his first 12 seasons. Harper joined the likes of Miguel Cabrera, Mike Trout, Nolan Arenado, Paul Goldschmidt and Manny Machado in that even more exclusive club.

Mets young prospect, Ronny Mauricio blasted his first career home run. The longball traveled 440 feet to the second deck of Citi Field with an exit velocity of 112.4 mph. Through his first ten games, he’s already hit five balls over 100 mph.

Like the other cards this year, members will be allowed to reserve one of these one-card packs.

I forgot to reply to Topps and ask if they got one or two bases for the ATL/PHI cards. Guessing one, and if so, side jewels will be a premium and certainly better on the Harper than the Acuna. Awaiting response and will post.

Got an answer on both....

Hey Chuck,

The customer limit is unlimited but the cart limit is one- which would explain why customers can purchase one at a time. This customer would have to call our general customer service line within the next 48 hours for our teams to investigate. Also, these were 2 separate bases!

Thanks Platman! Here is my response for Topps.

I did complete the first order with 1 Acuna card and any order I try after with 1 Acuna card is getting denied/cancelled. I'm also getting a topps email saying denied but no reason is given.

Well, they responded quick but in time for my cart to show Acuna "sold out" when I tested it.

That price is SOOO high. 174 versions will be TOUGH to get back $200.

I think people are starting to wise up and not spend money on items that are tough to get money back.

ive kinda checked out this year. my team sucks, and prices are just absurd now. not worth it IMO. last one i bought was the tigers no-hitter, and i regret it at the price i paid.

If this is the new pack format... they completely ruined it. I think they expected people to blindly throw money at anything they offer. You can't add 75 more cards and keep it the same price as before when those 75 cards didn't exist.

I look at it like it's 174 cards numbered to 87. The difference between 99 and 75 isn't that big.. the price they'd sell for on ebay will be pretty close. 99 to 49 is significant difference.

Let's see if they sell out. Also... will they keep the price the same going forward?

Never thought it'd happen but maybe people are finally wising up to the idea that we, as a collective, can influence pricing by not buying. Or, more realistically, the mass quantity of flippers scooping everything up regardless of price is learning that these don't flip well.

In the end, though, even if 90% sell by the end of the window, I'm afraid they won't really care. I'm not convinced that, at this juncture, they're looking at the sellout timeframe as an indicator of future demand opportunities/potential.

From my perspective, I feel like the longer these don't sellout, the less attractive they become to a large portion of buyers/flippers, hopefully, leaving more for us PC type guys to be able pick them up at reasonable prices. But that's my collector's wishful thinking, probably.

I got a tracking notification this morning. It’s either wemby relic, or a jrod redemption I’ve been waiting since the spring.
