My wife and I went on our morning walk posing as old people by wearing matching DrPepper shirts. Saw lots of turtles and collected a seed pod from a trumpet vine. Beautiful morning!

I almost had a Glen moment when picking up dinner.

They left me waiting for over 15 minutes. When they finally waited on me, they couldn't find the order in their system. I asked it was possibly at the other location. She said "I don't know". I said my husband called it in but I know it was a 394 number. Does your number start with 394. "I don't know" It took all the strength in me not to say something very smart ass.

The NJ State Firemens Convention Parade was a poor showing again this year. It was about 45 minutes.

It has not been decent since before COVID. The town my Mom lives in easily won Best Appearing. The supposed Ogdensburg challenge was a pitiful handful of marchers, a chiefs car, and one engine. South Amboy pulled off a better try, but Deptford had tons of stuff from their 5 fire companies, tons of marchers, and the heart strings of everyone with pkaquards on all of the apparatus for the Chief that died in the line of duty this year as well as his face plastered on the front of his antique fire truck ladder.

Made it up to the hotel in Connecticut with only a little bit of traffic trying to get over the bridge on 87/287. Thankfully, my GPS bypassed the GW Bridge.
