Salute autos were only found in Hobby packs. Odds of pulling a red parallel auto are 1;5,939 packs. There is a 36 prospects checklist x 25 red’s per prospect for a total of 900 red parallel autos scattered in seems like billions that were printed.

Per the odds(5,939) and the prospects(36) it could take you opening 5 Million hobby packs to get the prospect you are actually looking for.

I’ve got the base odds at pulling the prospect you are looking for at possibly taking 900K packs you’d have to open.

They are very rare and we don’t know the actual print run on the base copies but they don’t surface often and I’d imagine what we have seen are re-treads(been sold before) because the rest are still buried in sealed cases and might not ever see the day of light based on prices.

If the cards landed 1:5939 there were 900 total possible cards, that would imply there were "only" 5.345M hobby packs made.

Assuming perfect collation, you'd need to open approximately 573K packs to get one of each red auto for all 36 prospects (5939 x 36).

I guess you could be terribly unlucky and open 5M packs and still not hit one with the 25 red auto's for the guy you're looking for remaining in the leftover packs, but the odds on that would be insanely long (assuming Topps actually packed them out).

You forgot Slugging PCT, and his 2019 season was when he was 20. We were all expecting bigger things from him after that season.

His year is fine, just not exceptional by his own standards.
