NetPro Anna Leigh Waters RC Hype Release

Just curious if anyone managed to get any of the cards released this morning. Her superfractors on the site are OFFER ONLY for the next 2 weeks. I'll be curious what it goes for. She's the next hype after Carlos Alcaraz I guess. I didn't want to miss out on this one. I didn't even know pickleball has gotten that popular that it's an olympic sport now.

haha just posted another thread at the same time. Got a few autos and RC's but all the good stuff went fast! Sale did not go live until 2:30pm was supposed to be 1pm

I managed to snag her oncard auto at their 1pm Eastern time by doing a search on the site. Then managed to snag her limitless jersey auto at 2:30 eastern time. I wanted the other /50 auto but didn't want to shell out their asking. I guess her autos are a bargain knowingly her topps and leaf versions sell for more.

Smart...did not think of that.

RC's are now sold out too...crazy. Retro is down to under 400 left.

Grabbed 30 more retro. They won't last another hour. Then everything is gone. Crazy!

And...all gone. I can not believe that. She had a prior 22 Pro Set auto, 23 Pro Set card, 23 Leaf all kinds of junk and 23 A/G Autos and base/parallels.

flippers have began =) Good margin if they can flip from $190/$210 to their asking. I know Carlos Alcaraz cards went ridiculous during its debut and been holding steady since we know how good he is. I believe this pickle baller will pick up more traction as this sport continues to gain popularity and when the olympics starts this summer. I can see it fetching atleast 4 figures with more international attention. Just imagine, netpro on their IG said there were 52,000 visitors at time of it's release this morning and crashed the site. There's not even enough cards produced to fulfill all that demand.

I got 1 of the /150 autos. Will be interesting to see how the secondary market does. The Alcaraz drop was successful because it was his first cards and then he won the US open 3 weeks later. Waters already has plenty of cards with Leaf and Topps.

This 'release' was an epic failure. Between the site crashing, and the fact they said on instagram no need to keep refreshing, come back at 3 for the live drop. I still had each card I wanted in my cart and signing into paypal only to be told "X card sold out, go back and update your cart". I did that, went forward again only to be told the next card was gone, go back and update your cart. So on and so on. I had to do that 4 times before everything was sold out and I got nothing. Three months of waiting for this release and two hours of non-stop refeshing today. Their site is a joke, and don't get me started on not putting buying limits on cards #'d to 50 and 150, especially when they said 52,000 people crashed the site at 1 PM. I'm bitter yes, but I'll get over it. Her 2022 Leaf cards will always be her true rookies anyway, regardless of what NetPro or anyone else says. But this thing today... was a total joke. And I would've said that even if I got the cards I wanted. Never again will I go after anything from NetPro.

She has Topps cards as well. They sell decently and Topps is a much bigger name in the hobby. Netpro has action photos... which helps. I'd think the topps name would help with prices as well.

Tried to grab a few non-autos /50, but they evaporated pretty quickly. I wasn't overly disappointed since I'm skeptical about Pickleball's ability to gain TV viewership in the coming years, but I digress...

Overall, high-end looking cards that were a bit underpriced, which was probably an overcorrection from people complaining ab the Alcaraz prices. I'd personally be willing to spend more $$ to have an opportunity to obtain the card from the manufacturer vs. a guy looking to make a quick buck on ebay. Cool to see the demand though, and can't wait for future releases.

From the photos, it appears this release is miles better than anything else I've seen. They also have match worn patches on some of them which is again, unique to the rest. Maybe the release was a bit jagged, but that's not uncommon when a product is sought after.

One order yes and one no. The exact same thing happened with Alcaraz. I never got an invoice but when I emailed them they said it was fine. System was overwhelmed but they got it. I assume same this time. I have an order number for the order that was not confirmed.
