This would be the first time in a long time that I would be excited for a soccer release. On-card with match worn patches/boots. Then the box prices will ruin my excitement

That would be nice but I would be surprised if the cards say match worn in anyway.

Topps has done the ambiguous statement about how the relic contained on this card is not from any specific game/race or season in F1 and also in Baseball I think for a while now so you really have no idea where it came from. They should look nice though.

As much as I am looking forward to this I think it will be incredibly overpriced. I bet it will be in the $5-6k range for a case. And then it has to be said the rookie class is somewhat meh.

Dude, they just charged almost $400 for a box of Bowman Draft Sapphire with a crap checklist. I’m guessing $1500-2000 a box, or $7500-10k a case.

Dynasty is a 1 card box, 1 patch auto in a box, go big or go home.

Most boxes will be a boring patch auto /25 of Kai Havertz or something

Honestly, $1k a box would be an amazing price depending on checklist, on-card autos, and whether all patches are match worn. If every card is /10 at worst, there is no shortage of players (like Ronaldo shown) that would pay for the box and possibly much more at that price. $1k is not an 'amazing price' when the vast majority of people will be pulling Arturo Vidal or Nicolas Otamendi.

The bar to make the checklist is going to be the key thing with this, are they going to include scrub active players or will it be prominent active / retired players only. It still means the vast majority of boxes will be big losers but I think more people will take a chance if they think they should get back $250 rather than $50 even if they don't hit a big card.

2022 Dynasty baseball featured a checklist with 123 players in the base patch/auto set. Guys like Aaron Nola, Adrian Beltre, Alek Manoah, Blake Snell, Byron Buxton, Eloy Jimenez, etc. I could go on and on with the list of guys who you would be hard pressed to get $50 for.

I expect this to be even worse feast vs famine.

Why I said depending on checklist. There's no getting around the high risk/high* reward aspect of this. Unlike so many products of this nature, the reward part of this product has the potential to be huge at least.

What’s going on with mbappe autos? I knew a couple of years panini made a big thing about being exclusive. But the new 2023 psg set has mbappe autos, he might have some cards in this?
