Ryan feels like a massive wild card and I could see anything from 1 run in 7 innings, to getting shelled and out in the 3rd. All hands on deck tonight so it'll be a short leash. Can't look ahead, but man if we can just give PabLo a chance in game 5...

Agreed, even if he’s rolling, unless we’ve got a big lead I don’t want him to see Yordan more than twice. Yordan is just locked in right now.

Just glad it’s a night game so no shadows to worry about

Both teams had to play with the shadows. One scored 9 runs, semi-soft excuse for having a sub par offense.

Same goes for any Astro player/fan that uses the excuse for the batters eye being the issue for them this season…it clearly wasn’t for the away team.

I know both did. I’m saying from the general statement of no shadows equals no even attempted excuses for game 4

Also I prefer night games, just in general

It was cuz Orioles rangers game 4 had the 7 ET/6 CT slot. With Orioles and rangers down, they shift the early game into a more primetime slot

That makes sense. I have today off of work so I'm glad that I didn't end up trying to get a ticket and driving down to the cities for it because that would be too late for me. I'll just watch from home and open a hobby box of Topps Update instead.

Good year overall. Didn't expect much this year but you did ok vs Hou. Encouraging, still have pitching and some young guys coming along.

It was a successful season regardless and I give credit to Rocco even though I was against the guy most of the season, but he still ended up micro-managing this game. No need to pull Ryan before he got through the lineup

Yeah I thought Joe was gonna go another rotation or at least until he got into some trouble

But honestly if the lineup is gonna score 2 runs it really didn’t matter too much what was happening pitching wise. 3 total hits is no bueno

Close game, just couldn't pull it out. Was also surprised to see Ryan taken out so early, but can't hate the logic of not letting the Astros 1-4 see any pitcher twice yesterday. Really good outing by the bullpen again. Just still can't find the key hits, or at least enough of them in the same spot. Disappointing end to the year, but glad we had a good game to go out on. This year far exceeded any expectations heading into the year and once the sting of the season being over fades, there will be a lot of things to look forward to and excitement for next year

I do believe the end of baseball season for your team is the saddest end for any of the main 4 sports. The fact it bleeds into going into winter aids that as well

At least when the other 3 sports end, it’s either almost spring (nfl) or already summer (nhl and nba)

I am sitting here watching in slow motion Royce Lewis' stolen base from yesterday on YouTube, as I was at the game and there was no replays. And All I can say is he touched the base before the ball hit the glove I think let alone the tag. What am I missing?

Was at the game too and completely baffled. But I think it was a called 3rd strike, and the umpire was just slow as crap to make his calls all day long?
