Any opinions on overall site speed? It seems to be faster than before. Since the app went live it would crawl sometimes and hang when changing prices, etc.

Sent them a quick email to say email verification Every Time was a horrible idea.
Above was the very quick response. Almost like a form letter for the complaints they must have been getting.

Unfortunately, the big brains at COMC think this new policy is a good idea and might be here to stay for a while.

CAPTCHA was bad but this new 'security system' is way worse.

The big users have a meeting with the higher ups tomorrow. I am sure that we will impress on them that this move is not good for the site. I know the standard response is what they are giving now, but after we spend some time talking to them that it will change.

All they really need to do is make it an option that is turned off by default but people can opt into if they want the extra "security". Having it turned on by default like this, in such an annoying manner, with no warning or previous discussion, is actively going to drive away their customers.

yes it can be frustrating like today where I signed in to both COMC and my email account, but it still has the 20 minutes inactivity mark where it automatically logs you out

Do they understand that the site looks kinda outdated? They should come up with something useful for a change.

Right. I mean, banks and brokerage accounts let you "remember this computer?". I think COMC can do the same.

There has to be some combination of not requiring 2FA every time and not logging you out if you look away for 20 minutes. As sellers, we want it to be as easy as possible for casual buyers to come to the site and go shopping. As it stands now, this is much more annoying than eBay if you just want to buy some cards, and that's bad.

I only had to verify once and since then getting in has been a breeze plus the site seems to be running faster. Maybe it's limiting the amount of useless log ins, idk. I've even sold a handful of cards and my port sucks right now.

Shipping Update:

I requested a shipment of 100 cards by cheapest method on September 1.

The original shipping date was supposed to be 9/25, but was pushed back to October 11.

The package actually did ship on October 5, and would have been delivered October 7, but I was unavailable at that time.

I received the package today. Everything looks swell. It was securely packed and I didn't notice any undisclosed problems.

I do not like this new sign in process at all. I wonder if this is a way of diverting people to the app without saying it.

That seems possible. I've been logged on in the background on my laptop all afternoon; it hasn't kicked me off once or made me re-verify. Phone (site, not the app) is still kicking me off and making me log back in and play the 2FA game. If it isn't your explanation, their IT department may be run by squirrels.
