Nice ghost bump. There was no draft when I was 18. But there was a 15 year old rookie named Joe Nuxhall.

Same draft was rooting for jason stokes to go 1 overall (went 2-1 instead) Because he hit a 500 foot bomb off me in summer ball and would have been less embarrassed if he went 1-1. Still one of best hitters I’ve ever seen before injuries

Default 1998 Draft

No one from my hometown, but some names that bring me back! Here’s the first twenty picks.

Pat Burrel
Mark Mulder
Corey Patterson
Jeff Austin
JD Drew
Ryan Mills
Austin Kearns
Felipe Lopez
Sean Burroughs
Carlos Peña
Josh McKinley
Joshua Everett
JM Gold
Jeff Weaver
Clinton Johnson
Robert Wells
Brad Lidge
Seth Etherton
Anthony Torcato
Carlton Sabathia

So….who the best name on that list?

Really goes to show you, all these prospects that sell for hundreds or thousand today, is anyone willing to pay $1,000 for a Pat Burrell RC?

At least that school is consistent in their ethics teaching. A decade apart, but but have the same ideas when it come to the rules.
