Two bats in recently of Mark Teixeira and Dmitri Young. The Teixeira bat I am extra excited about. I won it in the recent REA auction and after further research it seems it was used at the end of the 2009 World Series season when the Yankees won their 100th game and clinched the division. There is also a chance it was the bat he hit the walk off home run with in Game 2 of the ALDS. Further research will be needed, but I am very happy with the bat. The photo attached is from the walk off home run with a very similar bat.

A few new pickups. The Gwynn I picked up for a great price. He had a Koufax too for a steal and I just missed it.

Just got this in the mail today. Heim became one of my favorite players in 2021 just because it seemed like every Rangers game I went to, he came up with a clutch hit. I felt like he was going to become a staple in the Rangers lineup. To see him become an all star and World Series champ in 2023 made me feel like I actually got one right. This was a card I was hoping to pickup before it was even produced, so when it showed up on eBay I knew what I had to do.

New collection starting of Jason Delay. Going for the rainbow here (minus the weird Halloween parallels, no thanks)

And lastly a card I’ve been wanting for a very long time. Vandy legend (and classmate once) who despite being a high pick never had a ton of cool prospect/RC stuff. Maybe this was due to razor? Anyway this was up for auction. I missed out on the logo man, but happy to add this.

Some more Corbin’s arrived over the last week or so

Just a couple more remain at authentication/shipping, and after that probably mostly done with pickups. Time to just enjoy him playing in the coming years!
