I was up way too late reading. I need to get some new stuff added for the show this weekend. I should be able to fit a nap in before I go over to my parents to get the Christmas stuff out of storage. From there I am picking up the young guy from work and taking him back to his hotel room. His girlfriend has their car.

You should be getting the Thanksgiving stuff, not Christmas.

I’d rather see the untrimmed branch and garbage truck than that stupid tree.

I guess someone isn’t getting a Christmas present.

I wish I could get as excited about opening cards as some of these YouTube breakers. I was sorting cards away from my remote so I just was watching breaks till I couldn’t take it anymore. Such a dog and pony show for most of them, the card is not even yours. The day I get that excited about a card I have to ship off to somebody else I give you guys permission to blow my brains out.

You don't get excited when you pull a $300 card and it sells on eBay?

I get excited when it is my card and I can do what I want with it. If I were doing a group break and pulled the card for somebody else why would I jump around scream and dance like an idiot. The card changes nothing about my life as it’s going off to someone else. In fact it only makes it worse knowing you had a chance at the card but the box was sold in a group break. Are you following what I am saying.

I watched a guy open Certified football. Every insert was “nice!l” even though they sell for $1.

I see Prizm is up at $900 a box. Just straight ridiculous.

I can’t remember my last hobby box purchase. I buy retail as it’s basically as much as I want to spend on the hobby right now. You would think these manufacturers would see the writing on the wall and have a price reset but there are still too many disillusioned collectors paying their asking price.

My mom has had that stuff out (she doesn't have much) for over a week. She will slowly get the Christmas stuff put out over the next couple of weeks. My parents are going on a cruise the weekend after Thanksgiving and she wants everything done by then so she can home to a nicely decorated house.

I definitely do not take after her as I do not care about holidays in the slightest.

A couple months ago I was able to get a couple of hobby boxes of 2023 Donruss NASCAR for under MSRP. Prior to that, the last hobby box I opened may have been the case of 2018 Topps Update I picked up in one of the black Friday sales back then.

Remember it’s only if I got that excited about pulling a high valued card for someone else, so yes that’s not going to happen.
