I hadn’t looked at WM in months - ouch 🤣🤣. They want $58 for ‘22 Select FB blasters (well over $2/card after tax) and $34.99 for ‘23 Topps Chrome baseball blasters is a “sale”! The 3rd party resellers they allow to list are beyond funny.

My local walmart has been stocked with $20 blasters again! 21-22 Optic and Prizm basketball. There were a bunch of other blasters (including baseball) but I didnt look too closely.

Walgreens sells cards at discretion of local store. My local store sold new cards for 1 or 2 years but never did get the S1/S2 yellow parallels. They then stuck with repack products for 1 or 2 years and are now back to no cards at all.

I have a newer one near my house and the usually have some flagship retail and ginter on the shelves. Nothing discounted. Last year was great, it was a honeypot to find 22 Update Hangers every week.

Walgreen's is super YMMV. I'm in the Chicago area and most are sold out completely of anything, and a few have repacks.

I'm back to the days of empty shelves at all 3 Walmarts and 3 Targets I frequent. We had a nice run for about a year when there was a decent selection on shelves. Walmarts are all completely cleared out except for Pokemon. I was at Target last weekend and they had a couple packs of Series 2, a couple packs of NFL Prestige and some blasters of UFC and WWE cards and Pokemon and Magic. But I was in Florida over the holidays and went to Target and shelves were overflowing with blasters for every sport

What can they possible be doing with it? There is so much junk out that you cant sell it for any profit and they are taking a bath by busting it. I know there are people that enjoy busting some regardless of ROI, me included on some products, but to clear shelves every week seems insane to me.

Walmart near me (suburban Minneapolis/St Paul) had 2023 Topps Series 1 blasters marked down to $15. Picked up a few. Hit a few of the better rookies and hit a couple decent parallels just didn't hit decent parallels of the better rookies.

The Meijer by me is full of everything, Ive picked up a few Prizm FB Megas, they were running a buy one get one 50 percent off, there is also a lot of baseball and hockey that is clearance at 15.99.

With the larger print runs, I could see (unless a huge breakout star) blasters for under $20 of items being regular after a year or so after release. Bring it back to the old days where a year after it hits the shelves, any product is discounted.

I checked 3 SW Austin HEBs. No luck. Snagged some fajitas and tortillas for tonight though!
