This is where Michigan fans tell you that vacated wins don't matter... they still played the games... but won't give Ohio State credit for their vacated wins in the overall total when comparing

So last 12 months for UM:
HC suspended for lying to NCAA
OC fired for hacking
Coach and staffer fired for sign stealing scandal
HC suspended (second time) for sign stealing scandal

I’m just amazed that UM has not moved to fire him. With the whole “Coach is responsible for those underneath him” thing the NCAA has Harbaugh on a stake. He’s staring down the barrel of a multi year show cause penalty. If he did not know what is going on(which most find laughable) he should have. He’s cooked and their continued defense of him is going to make the punishment worse. They should have gotten ahead of this from the beginning but took almost a month to admit “yeah you got us”

I’m on the same planet that Robert Smith is on. I certainly remember back in those days when he was a so called scholar athlete focusing on becoming a doctor. You may want to look this up but there was a huge story about Smith missing a team practice because he had a scheduled class. Let’s call the Buckeye’s Coach X, Coach X demands Smith to participate in the practice because the reason he is at OSU is to play football.

When those in power say they are Scholar Athletes what they are really saying is that they are suppose to scholar as a athlete and the books come next. That is until money is involved and then they receive scholarships - Scholar Athletes !
My point is simple. If you are going to lie about equality, player safety and accountability, keep it away from the news otherwise those in power look more guilty of power and greed than ever!

If they fire him, they owe him the rest of the $37MIL contract he signed last year, right? I'll give the school credit, they made him a contract extension earlier in the season, and were going to make him the highest paid coach in college. But a couple weeks back, they rescinded that offer.

If they want to do away with him, and not lose any money. They would be encouraging him to go back to the NFL and allow him to break his current deal. Which is still what I predict will happen. Even though Hairy laughed at me for saying so 10 days ago.

Everything is on the table right now. A coach instructing players to lie about Stallions, but somehow that coach totally didn't know about what Stallions was up to? And neither were the players? Give me a break. Someone needs to look into that LLC Stallions made called B2C LLC (Blake Corum's nickname) too. I have said since the beginning that the way the University of Michigan officials have responded so far smacks of there being MUCH more going on than has been reported -- its ferocious response to the Big Ten was an act of desperation disguised as strength. Lack of institutional control coming up is my guess.

Going back to 1991 is a bold move in this situation

I would say multiple NCAA violations under his watch is likely justifiable firing for cause. Unless they had a $20 an hour lawyer doing their contracts there had to be some language in his contract giving them grounds for a cause firing related to NCAA violations.

That situation in 91 is closer to when this rule of spying on other teams sidelines was initiated? Now you understand my stance! A antiquated rule that all programs abuse just like the Scholar Athlete! Though some members keep tapping their feet saying “there is no place like home” and voosh, the dream is over.

Use the portal like Harbaugh and Deion Sanders !

Deion used money and the portal to go 1-6 in the PAC12. Harbaugh cheated to win games. Be more like these guys. You smoke the best stuff and I’m jealous.

It's just so bizarre that he's holding up Deion as an example of success.

What success?

And Harbaugh knew - he is the smartest guy in the room after all.

The game is irrelevant

The Buckeyes could very well lose. They are underdogs. It won’t surprise me. Michigan is good at football. The players aren’t Jimmy. I get this

That has nothing to do with what is coming for the program

I understand what mutually exclusive means

So my posts won’t be interesting win or lose

They will also be in the other appropriate thread

Why kick him out?

Michigan booster Tim Smith tells @KatieJStrang that he's not the "Uncle T" in the sign-stealing scandal.

He's also been booted from the Champions Circle collective.

“I have no idea where this came from."

Well, before about noon today I was convinced it wasn't that bad.

Developments since have been less than ideal.

It's unfortunate that such a mess was allowed to go on. I misread the institution's public stance on this issue prior to today.

Feel bad for the current players who had the talent to do it on their own. Now everything is wiped out for them, or will be eventually.

Some lean years are likely ahead. They're going to have to clean house and rebuild it from scratch.

Enjoy the rest of the season, gentlemen.

That's like firing the head of Disney, because he didn't know the popcorn cart guy at Animal Kingdom was stealing balloons.

Haven't you ready anything Hairy and Nerdby have been posting? Harbaugh knew nothing. They cant fire a guy, and break his contract, for not knowing about something!
