Not surprised at all to see the suspension. I guess I am a little surprised given the issues he has already had this season that it was only two games. Guarantee he learns nothing from this!

Awesome, hope his appeal does nothing for him and he is out for the saints game at least. The guy is a dirty player and acts like a child.

Didnt Albert get 5 games when he stomped on somebody? I dont hink its enough time. Dude has a rep of being a dirty player and all of us has seen it before, its not like this is his first time. Numerous times has be thrown a cheap shot at someone and now he has done something really bad like this, and all he gets is two games? I hope he got a nice money fine put with this atleast... Doesnt help his coaches encourage his style of play.. They tell him to go out and do whatever he wants to. I mean whats next from the guy? It just keeps building up, he is lucky he did to an offensive lineman(if I remember right) and not Aaron Rodgers. I could only imagine what would happen if it was him.

Suh's incident was nothing like Albert's...hence a lesser suspension. |

His rep is definitely not just build from the media, he's certainly earned it. In a pool of only current NFL players he was voted the dirtiest player in the league by far, plus just from watching him play in games he's a dirty player. Don't get me wrong, he's an absolute monster and would fit in PERFECTLY in the NFL before Goodel took over and I would LOVE to have him on my team (I'm a Bears fan btw) but he definitely does a lot of dirty things. With all that being said, I think 2 games sounds about right, the incident wasn't as awful as the media is making it out to be but just the fact that he's constantly getting fined and hasn't changed at all means that the only other option the NFL has is to suspend him. I remember watching Rodney Harrison do an interview one time about suspensions and fines and he said that a fine never phased him one bit but there was no worse punishment he could receive than a suspension. Millionaire pro football players have enough money where a fine is basically just a slap on the the wrist but a suspension really hurts their competitive spirit and that's the only thing that will really make them take notice. It's also very unfair to compare Suh's stomp to Haynesworth's stomp.

I think a better penalty would be to have Suh lay down and have Dietrich-Smith stomp him

Alot goes on in pileups and whatnot during a game. There shouldn't be a suspension at all, just fine him and move on. Football is a dirty/gritty game, not Suh's fault American is going soft.

Fixed that for you...
![]() I would love for Suh to appeal and Goodell just say "It is now 4 games... want to keep talking smartass?" But that is the Packer fan in me talking...

This stuff happens all of the time, I bet you could watch any game and see a stomp going on. But this was so bad, that the TV's were on the play is what is making the big deal of it.

I see what you are saying, but in reality did Suh have any idea if that was going to be the dude's head or arm when he made his stomp? No he did not, so regardless of the fact that it was his arm as far as Suh was concerned (or actually not concerned) it could have been his head.

But who knows. I can't argue that either way. I do think it is crazy to believe that he would have stomped on another mans head intentionally. |

I'm not saying intentionally. I'm just saying he stomped without a care of what he was stomping on. Or that is how it appears, like you said it's hard to say as we aren't him. But really a humans arm is very close to their head so it's not like he took the time to look and verify it was his arm and not his head. Even then that thought process would be messed up anyhow "oh it's just his arm I can stomp away".
