Default Now that Ohio State has a real coach

It is time to break out the big league abuse for the useless nuts:

Hah! That team up North wins one for the first time in 7 years and the way they act you would think they never ever lost to THE Ohio State University lol. Enjoy the win punks, tOSU will be coming back strong in the next couple of years. Oh, and the haters can keep hating too. Enjoy them being down now, but they won't be staying down long. Admit it, their is a tiny kernel of fear in your gut knowing that tOSU will be exacting vengeance on CFB in the next couple of years.

the last big game i remember them winning was when the refs cheated miami out of a national championship on that lame pass interference call. OSU might go back to the way things were a few years ago, beat up on the big ten then get beat by 40 by whichever team from the sec their playing in the championship game.

So, you won 7 in a row (actually 6, because last years win was vacated)...what's the record of the rivalry overall?...

58-44-6 in favor of Michigan. you have a few more years to catch up.

Now that Ohio State has a new coach.....

He will resign in 2 years with health related issues...and the reigns will be handed back to Luke Fickel

Pretty upset about this, but he is a Ohio native if I remember right. So it makes sense, I liked Meyer at Utah and like him at Florida. But now.... Ugh.... Buckeye??? Really, screw the Buckeye's. Like the comment above, most overrated team and always will be. Now with him just being there, it will only get worse. But in favor of Ohio, they will get ever more top recruites now. He will be winning big games out of the gate, but do they still have a ban on them like USC?

We won't know about the ban until mid-December, but with tOSU self-sanctioning, it may lessen the blow a bit.

im not quite sure why people are hating on ohio state's academic program. standards to get in here are getting harder and harder every year. usually only top of the class students get in. last i heard they recommended at least a 30 on the act and around a 4.0 in high school to make sure you were in.

i currently attend ohio state and let me tell you it has one of the best pharmacy programs in the nation. i looked at michigan and they werent close. ohio state has one of the toughest, best and brightest chemistry programs in the country as well, not to mention an amazing medical facility.

i really hate when people think ohio state is a poor academic school. its not!! it used to be back when my parents were in college and most of you guys on here, but no it is far from a party school. grades actually matter and im proud as hell to be a buckeye!

i turned down going to unc and stanford to come here so people really need to lay off that the academic program is subpar because it not

bdubs3316...I welcome Michigan back from irrelevance to make The Game better. It does get tiring blowing out your rival by 30 points over the past 7 years. Also, most of those "victories" happened before 1930. I guess hanging your hat on something that is almost 100 years old really shows the sad mindset that Michigan is in. Congrats on beating 9 creampuffs and beating a freshman laden tOSU squad to possibly make a BCS bowl. Now go make the Big Ten hang its head again when you get beaten down by a TCU, Boise St, or some other no-name team no one has heard of.

Michigan won 13 of the first 15 games when Ohio State was the 3rd biggest college in Ohio - quite impressive.

Throw out any other years and the Buckeyes will 95% of the time have the edge.

Do they teach you how to punctuate and/or write a complete sentence at The Ohio State University?

Please do not insult us by stating Ohio State is not a party school. Even your parents are not naive enough to believe that line.

I didn't cherry pick stats - I'm well aware of what they are overall - I'm simply posting the disclaimer of why Michigan has the lead - it's because they won 13 of the first 15 games against the 3rd biggest school in Ohio.

It's simply a fact - as much as the overall record is a fact - but it also clearly explains the "edge" that Michigan has.

So...I guess we can't throw away stats from 100 years ago, but we can throw away stats from this past decade because RichRod was coach?

I hardly call selling memorabilia and receiving benefits like tattoos "cheating"... at least in any way that affects play on the field.
