May I ask your opinion on Jacob Gonzalez? Not as great as how highly picked? I feel should be low end tier 2 type.

We had a ton in tier 2. The end of it and the start of Tier 3 (after the Charlee Soto/Luke Keashcall area) is fuzzy-- CJ Kayfus (who I have even higher, but I know it's a hot take), Dillon Head, Jace Bohrofen, Spencer Nivens, Alberto Rios, Jake Cunningham, Eric Bitonti, Andrew Pinckney, Adrian Santana, Noble Meyer, Jacob Gonzalez, Johnny Farmelo.

I came away thinking Bitonti's risk was just quite a bit higher than I expected, which is why he goes so low at the bottom of the tier. Others are just favorites that eked their way up.

Joe admitted he's probably the low man on Farmelo. It's always fair for say something like that for preps, especially ones who didn't play in any pro games yet.

The Meyer/Soto difference is a result of two different writers throwing numbers at floor/ceiling - they're, in reality, pretty close of course.

Would be nice if the format matched BC Sapphire (add SPs, Sapphire Selections, SS autos) at $229. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same as 2022, base and parallels only priced at $199.

Of the sapphire products released in 2023, BC Sapphire is the clear winner. Bowman and flagship were no bueno, Update would have been a winner with on-card autos imo.

I don't know why, but I thought you had 5 tiers. So I was splitting Tier 2 into Tier 2 and 3. If I combine them I predicted 24 and you had 22....although you had an extra Tier 1.

Copy that on the line being blurry. It's pretty much pick a spot and draw the line because after the top 3 there are no real obvious places to separate. This is always an issue when doing tiered rankings whether for cards, fantasy, strato-matic, or even the real MLB draft.

Prospects Live has him in Tier 3, but he's probably on the border line of Tier 2/3 in a 3 Tier system because my system agrees with you.

That's a lot of on card auto's. Really interested in what kind of coin these Brady's will bring, especially the inscription ones.

Used my MVP redemptions for a super jumbo at Steel City, looks like it may have shipped.

Just had my boxes (jumbo and super jumbo) delivered this am from Topps. LCS has them and selling them Tuesday, and luckily was able to grab some Ohtani and Acuna MVP buybacks at shows cheap/ripped and cashed them in for basically a free box this week. Should hopefully be some fun rips as well as some inventory to put out next weekend at our show. As a Dolphins fan if I am lucky enough to pull a Brady that thing will be listed asap

Brady chrome on-card autos. It's been FAR too long. Topps football can't get here quick enough.

To me him having autographs in the product makes it worth the risk of trying a box. I know it's going to be a really tough pull but imagine pulling a brady on card autographed card with inscription.

At least in Baseball, they've constantly got top current players, top HOFers and legends - on card - in a ton of products. It's absolutely non-existent in football.

My favorite part of Bowman release is the people who pay 10x value on top chase base chrome cards instead of just waiting 2 weeks when the market floods.

And then 3 years later one of those prospects will sell for five x what they did during the release peak prices.

Bowman draft is always good times. I wish cases where priced alittle more realistically for "regular" collectors though. I would guess that what a case costs is probably 80 percent of what I usually spend a year on cards... that's alott of money for one afternoon of breaking.

The first Tom Brady cards are starting to hit eBay. Wisely putting short run auctions. Going to be interesting to see what the base settle at.

Most curious indeed. $500 out the gate is my guess.
