Not even remotely similar. Sticker vs on card, crappy foil vs matte. Brooklyn so much nicer.

I agree on the 2 points you made, but "Not even remotely similar" is a little dramatic.

7 cards total, 2 autos, one special short print, similar release period (plus no word on Brooklyn).

I'm hoping they didn't nix Brooklyn as that one of my favs each year, but when I saw the format I got a little concerned.

I agree. I thought this was basically a crappy version of Brooklyn and got worried as well as they haven't said anything about Brooklyn yet.

It is probably a replacement for Brooklyn since they could not come up with another older design and they are trying to get a younger audience interested in their online products. Just wish these were not stickers. Probably over using their current line up of auto signers as it is.

Man, I'm bummed out if Brooklyn Collection got scratched. Was looking forward to that one, makes for a great Christmas break.

Probably addressed earlier but I need some clarification. Topps extended our Montgomery Club memberships. Have they or are they going to release any offerings to us during this extension or just extend the membership with no offerings?

We still haven't gotten GBK and Bundesliga so maybe that's why, but we still don't know. Topps does whatever it wants so don't be surprised if nothing comes of it.

Yeah, that was a weird one to axe. And I may be the only one but I was REALLY looking forward to a 2023 Baller if they went with the Black Refractor base look again. I was smitten with that set.

We're was the announcement of Brooklyn collection? People in this same thread were saying that update sapphire was scrapped this year. And we got a few weeks latter.

I haven't seen any info on it yet one way or another. It was not included in the early purging of some sets referenced in the Beckett article linked below. It's just the similarity of this release to Brooklyn that has folks worried I think. Of course, it is more than possible that I missed an announcement.

Unless I'm mistaken, since it's inception..Monty's been available for renewal/purchase at the beginning of December...?? We're quickly approaching Week 3, and nary a "hint" or suggestion of renewal/sales of Monty taking place....?!? Conceivable, that it may have been scrapped.
