Haven’t seen anything. I’ve just been searching “Topps Japan” periodically. Saturday release is weird, I’m not sure how many people over there actually have it in hand?

That person say they bought it at the convenience store so I guess those places got it first before shipping to anyone from Topps Japan website

Yup, a lot of the tweets I've seen so far from buyers in Japan said they bought a couple packs from their local convenience store.

It's tough, enough....waiting to get your product, in-hand...when you see that it's LIVE and being busted,...left & right,....domestically; but when you're waiting on a product to arrive from overseas,...and, still have yet to receive a shipping manifest, that, to me, is doubly anxiety-causing! Grrrrrr!!

Yeah, was hoping for a Christmas opening but that is not looking good right now. I know that once it ships, it is usually very quick. Lets hope we see some shipping notices early this week.

Really....??!? I was under the presumption; the opposite! Granted, this was just as ...."the VID"....was kickin' off, but when I was getting my Panini Asia exclusive boxes from mainland China, I distinctly recall my boxes/cases (multiple , different shipments) taking upwards of two calendar weeks, plus,...to get here! Perhaps, Japanese imports are less...."strict", compared to those with Chinese manifests....??

The 2022 MLB boxes came pretty quickly via DHL. Like 1-2 days after shipment. I was really surprised.

My 2022 order was shipped via DHL from Japan and it was in hand in 48 hours. I've purchased watches from Japan and had similar results.

Ahhhhh...!! Now that I think about it, that'd make much more sense (eg; DHL/expedited shipping)! Especially, considering; the S&H charge of $40+

As an aside, my Asia exclusives came from a drop-shipper who used (I believe...?) China Post.

Perhaps,... will intervene and we'll get shipping notices, today/tomorrow! ***said, with crossed fingers & bated breath***

I have connections in Japan. Mine were delivered there on Saturday and were on the way here same day. Of course they are held up in customs in Anchorage at the moment, otherwise I might already have them in hand.

Had you utilized this modus, in previous years....?? If so, had it proven to be any quicker than the..."normal, plebeian means"? I only ask, because...according to a couple of posts, above, it's only a matter of a few days for the packages to arrive, once sent. I too, have "connections" (a buddy stationed in Yokusuka) and I honestly never even gave this a moment's thought...?? May have to employ his.....sportscard purchasing services....in the future!

Yes - in 2021 you weren't allowed to ship to the US through the Japan site so I went this route then. Basically took 24 hours to get from my contact in Japan to me on the East Coast.

In 2022 they did allow shipping to the US, which I didn't realize until after I placed an order to be sent within Japan. I still had them about a week before anyone else in the US. My assumption is they just hold off on shipping internationally for some period of time after it releases.

I think we found last year that they seemed to ship orders to the US on a specific day, maybe Friday if I remember correctly. Still, online is limited to 5 boxes per account, need that to increase to 12.
