Still 2-1 going into the 3rd Sweden scored but time expired before it went in. Still 1 minute and 51 seconds of power play time for Sweden to start the 3rd period.

And we think football is rigged in America the 2 minute slashing penalty against Switzerland with 1.50 left should’ve never been called.

Power play for Sweden again on a questionable hooking penalty.

If calling the game by the letter of the law the winning goal could’ve been disallowed as Sweden had a player whose feet were in the crease. Never should be called but after the 2 ticky tack penalties against Switzerland it should’ve been called.

Skates in the crease are OK as long as there is no goalie interference.
This isn't Brett Hull vs The Dominator circa 1999.

I hated that rule as much as I hate the video replay to see if a guy was 1cm offside 2 minutes before a goal was scored.

IIHF rules are different. Ref can stop the play for crease violations.

Didn't know that. Thank you.

Guess the ref felt there was no interference or impact to the play.

Love the Czechia "stuns" Canada tweets and headlines...only ones shocked by that are Canadians. Canada was bang average the entire tournament.

Hopefully now they can get around to releasing the findings of the Hockey Canada sexual assault scandal.

Management/Coaching staff made some really weird choices going into the tournament this year. Where was Cristall? Nadeau? Left so much offense at home to bring a bunch of depth guys that wont even play 100 games in the NHL.

Off year for us talent wise. Will utterly walk it next year in Ottawa though

I'm gonna go with USA, Sweden is strong but USA is too and have shown they can overcome adversity....plus they never had Bedard so don't have the bad luck of sucking now without him.

I'm Canadian, I wasn't shocked. You could see going in that we shouldn't be a favorite. Weird choices for the team and we just don't match up talent-wise with the teams playing for gold right now.

Our coaching staff also did a horrible job, they should never be back.

Congratulations to the USA, they were definitely the best team in this tournament and they deserve that gold medal.

Any young kids who play Hockey should be watching this tournament. Watching these kids truly helps young players realize how fast this game is, plus I personally believe this is some of the greatest Hockey you can watch.

"It's the most wonderful time of the year"

I got hooked after John Carlson's OT winner in 2010. International hockey is the best.

In honor of the WJHC we saw 2 blasters of 2023 Hockey Canada Juniors on clearance at LCS while buying supplies.

Lots of nobodys but managed to get.........

IMHO not too bad for $25
