![]() Fantilli and Cooley held for extended, assuming they dont change anything here. Pretty top heavy, go big or go home I guess |

I'm hoping UD short prints the Bedard instead of printing it to the moon but doubtful.
Buy singles!

Cramming Poitras, Beecher, and Lohrei in the same set as Bedard is gonna hurt me right in the epack speckles.

This is the situation where I may actually buy into my first team break though (B's collector too). Poitras might be a little pricier but don't see anybody paying up in a break to get Beecher/Mason.

Yeah, though the Bruins are probably going to be the second-priciest team behind the Blackhawks. Maybe 3rd behind the Ducks.

Said this in another thread, but holding Fantilli and Cooley for extended hurts big time. Bedard will sell Series 2 on his own, but I was thinking 23-24 Series 2 might be the most stacked flagship set we’ve seen in a long time. Definitely don’t feel that way anymore, especially at the price. If you pay $300 for a box of this and don’t hit a Bedard YG? You’re out like $200+.

Think so? I know nothing about breaks (watched a case break video of S1 over the weekend because had Loupe credits from PSA but ended up buying a single instead w/ it) but I would be surprised if Poitras was enough to make them 2nd. Or maybe it's just having 3 YGs in the checklist overall?

Ducks are definitely #2, 4 YGs with Carlsson and Minty leading the way

Come to think of it, with how most breakers do the checklist YG, Ducks are clear #2. Though I will say, if you only care about getting the B's guys and not Bedard, this is the exact argument for buying into breaks. The B's will probably cost less than half of a hobby box to get into a case break.

I'm shocked to say that I much prefer Extended Hobby w/ Fantilli, Cooley, Bedard Canvas, plus the chance of YG Acetate + some inserts that historically sell for decent money @ $1350 USD a case than the insane $3500 USD price on S2. If you had those 3 cards in S2 you MIGHT be able to support a price of $2500-$3000 at most but without them? yikes. Esp. since Canvas grades much better than base YG's - hopefully UD does better w/ S2 on quality but their last 2 years has been grim.
Also, one thing in S1 that popped up was distribution of YG's was pretty uneven. Old days worst case you might miss 1 YG in your case - I think for each of my 2 cases I was missing 8-9 YG's. Can you imagine paying $3500 and not getting ANY Bedard? |

I think they're saying they got the requisite # of YGs but the collation meant you didn't get the set. Usually in a case you get a full set of YGs + about 40% of another
