At what point do we have to think the Knicks are this good? Everything says they are looking for a "superstar", but they are playing very good basketball right now without that "missing piece".

They are running Denver out of the building.

Been saying it since the end of his sophomore year: Lululemon's the melanin deprived Harden 2.0.

Obviously at a much accelerated career path: but all signs ultimately point to the same destination.

That's not a diss either. Though BO always takes anything Strip Club Patron related as a Stalin comparison. During his historic offensive 2018 run, he was actually a more hated figure round these parts than the infamous LeViathan. Imagine that.

But he took a past-prime DH12 (pause), Ariza, and Corey Brewer to the WCF.


The Don has 2 years from this February to match Harden's MVP accolades. And I don't know how anyone could possibly knock Beard for being a 'loser' when none of the young bucks outside of Yannis has a ring.

I do think Luka has a higher raw BBIQ, but the overall style of their games is nearly identical. We've seen how Harden's morphed his style to minimize his scoring output and ball dominance since leaving Houston. He knows this is the only way he can possibly play alongside a 1a without disrupting game flow. I think Luka will need to eventually do the same, and work more on his off-ball movement to open up the floor for his teammates.

He's got as good a shot at winning a title as any of the top young guys. That's not debatable. But even teaming with a big name isn't some guarantee of a ring these days. Not with the top heavy balance of power in both conferences and roster/culture continuity amongst the contending squads.


It's really a coin flip who's going to have next once the old heads exit stage right.

Did I see correctly..? Embiid only had ten FT attempts? Must be why they lost....

Did someone also say Luka and Trae together...?? You'd need all-world defenders everywhere else on the court!

Tweaked his ankle/knee at one point close to the end of the first half, but they were down 12 or so when that happened. He only played 12 minutes the second half because they were getting ran out of the building.

He still put up stupid numbers. I think at one point, him and Maxey both had 19 points and hardly anyone else had put up more than 4 or 6.

Basically, after Embid tweaked his knee, the Pacers gave him a free pass, cause he had no game. Just before that he was finding rhythm. But after, they were laying up and stealing against him at will. If the 76ers can afford it, they should put him on restricted minutes all the way up until finals.
