I'll take a stab at it. I think he's trying to say it shouldn't be a 10 because the corners have a tiny bit of extra flare to them. Personally, I have no issues with this and it adds to the "pack fresh" nature.

Not that, bat ears can be a sign of a trimmed card.

I don't know how SGC views the "bat ears" but I (maybe wrongly) thought that unless it is an indication of some tampering it could fall under the "as it was manufactured" heading and not be a negative.

1967 Philadelphia has some really rough edges that PSA doesn't penalize the cards for because they are considered part of the manufacturing process for that particular set (or so I am told, though it appears to be true in practice as well, given the grades I see).

My opinion, you are going in pretty close to see the tiniest flares there. Again, assuming that there's nothing malicious here, that card is as good a copy as I have ever seen.

I'm with you.

I have pack-pulled (by me) cards from throughout the 80s that have this.

Yes, this is not uncommon at all!

Blazers. I don’t like the top right corner on the SGC, but hard to say without seeing it up close.

Agreed. Either sheet-cut or trimmed. Probably the former.

The PSA 10 sures has a bunch of fisheyes. At least 6 in just the Bears football...

Yellow registration off as well; very obvious in the name shadowing effect, which shouldn't be there.

The myriad trimmed threads on these boards have made me very skeptical of high-grade slabs. I'll take my solid NM 1976 Topps set in a binder any day of the week!!!!
