Maybe a March Madness Bball special. Would be ripe with Prizm now fully out.

I suspect they need a ton of cards to keep some folks occupied based on how they crushed the January specials. I'll prep a modest 50-60 card baseball one tonight but I'm not going all-in on the presumption something similar will be here as soon as Friday.

New specials are up. Reduced pricing on some of the upper tiers, an Express level Ticket/ Pack special and a 1960-1979 sports card special.

So - the March specials are attempting to make sure people don't submit any high volume orders. Mission accomplished. I'll be sitting out this month.

Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250.

my first thought was theyre pushing for more vintage on psa side with the sgc deal.
most likely just coincidence, but after my last vintage experience with psa i might not do more

I just sent in a CGC order with some vintage cards I wish I held for this special. Will probably send in about 20 to 25 cards for this.

March specials offers a 29.99 value plus for members, so I paid for membership this morning because I was about to send in 12 cards for 39.99 value pus anyways so it made sense to get the membership again.

But once I paid for the membership and go to enter submissions it now states its TCG only when they advertised "Any category card accepted"

Hopefully they will fix it

That is a let down for March. I held back some basketball thinking they'd do something for March Madness. Oh well.

Barf! My PSA membership is set to expire this month, declined the auto-renewal. No point in re-subscribing until they get TCG cards down to $13 a pop or less.

Seeing how existing vintage orders are already taking a lot longer than their modern counterparts, logically PSA wouldn't be wanting any more volume. But with their new resources at SGC, PSA gotta milk the low end vintage stacks ($250 or less declared value on this special) that people have as much as possible...before people give up slabbing them in PSA slabs and send them all to SGC instead (which some have). Targeting registry folks who have been asking and asking for "low end" prices to get their vintage stuff slabbed.

Well, here you go...$14.99...not quite the $7-8 of the old days but they're hoping submitters don't remember how it use to be. Registry folks will forgive the stated 65 day turnaround on these to get their cards in PSA slabs over SGC slabs (who charges $15 with supposedly 5-15 days turnaround). PSA is price matching SGC...but for low end cards...longer turnaround time but hey you get your cards in our nice red labels and our awesome registry.

I wish PSA would say how many minimum cards per order tier so frustrating you have to guess. How many cards for the 60-79 special?

I rolled the dice only making a 60 card BB order last night when I could have easily doubled or tripled that number. I guess I'll just cobble together a couple mix n match bulk orders this month and call it good.

Don't know a lot about TCG but did some research on Magic cards for a friend a while back...that started in 1993 and was supposedly the first TCG..."gaming card". Pokemon cards started in 1996? So 60s or 70s non sport cards are mostly small sets for things like TV shows, movies, comic books/super heroes etc?

I'm new to vintage but have a 1969 topps Nate Thurmond. I assume that counts as a tallboy and disqualified from this special?

Thanks for the help.
