ive yet to even consider it, but that was the closest ive been to actually entertaining the idea. im not sure if you interpreted that as I have also in the past. now i need to figure out how to cope with being blocked by someone. can anyone walk me through the grieving process?

When Ohtani said Masuhara was stealing money from him, his culpability ends.

He is saying Masuhara did the transfers without him knowing to pay of his own gambling debts.

Unless something different is revealed, Ohtani won't get any punishment. In the scenario above what did he do wrong? He didn't wager and didn't transfer the money himself.

He was irresponsible enough to allow someone access to his multimillion dollar bank account.

Nor should he be punished if he was truly a victim of theft.

The forensic accounting processes should be able to confirm some of these details (logins, IP addresses, etc), and if they bear differing or conflicting results, he should rightly be held accountable.

Nothing.

I don’t think he’s being truthful but unless MLB actively investigates his ties to the bookie or the FBI investigation uncovers inconsistencies, it’s over.

I don’t think MLB will do anything unless more comes out from the FBI implicating it. I think they are more than happy leaving Ohtani with plausible deniability and moving on.
