Normally when a card on my want list is sold the price changes to Not for Sale on my watch list and I click on it, and it is gone. I now see at times when a card still shows a price but when I click on it. It shows Sold but does not show up in the sold area when I click on the set for the card.

I have played around with one card I have for sale and put it on my watch list and marked it for shipment and for sale. It did not show what I'm seeing. I may not have allowed enough time when doing all this changing around.

Any ideas. Not a big thing just was wondering.
Are these cards that are running auctions?

The PSA card I submitted on December 16 just hit my account. This was 103 calendar days. The service was "45 day" but I don't know how they count them (for example, if it's just 45 business days at PSA plus transit and processing time).
You should ask for a refund

It's business days, but that also starts when the package arrives at the grader. Given you submitted near the holidays, they likely mailed at the end of the year or early in 2024, a week to arrive at PSA, and a week for it to be mailed back/processed - that's pretty close to today.

It's also 45 days NONGUARANTEED. There is no refund/discount for slow service at PSA. However, I think they have added a tracker on their website which gives you a more honest look at how long 45 day submissions are actually taking each month.

Looks like they may have removed it. I know they used to post it during COVID when the delays went from months to six months or more.

My economy 3/6/2024 with a delivery estimated ship date of 5/2/2024 is in "Checking & Packing." Was surprised to see that update.

No they are not showing up on auctions but that does not mean they were not put up for auctions and is waiting to be added. That was my first thought, or they just pulled them and holding them for later but that should show Not for Sale.

My understanding is that the app will allow you to save searches, rather than adding individual cards to your want list. This should make it easier for someone who is looking for a lot of different cards, but doesn't necessarily care which copy they buy or which seller they purchase it from.

Another thing you might consider if buying from a desktop is to keep a spreadsheet in Excel of COMC text searches for the specific cards you want, and manually change the lowest price / delete when necessary.

I've also found it useful to bookmark a handful of searches in a folder and then open all of the bookmarks in a separate tab

I have only my desktop no cell phone. Over the years I have tried many different ways and for me the watch list is the easiest but can be better. Since 2012 I have asked if they could do a hide feature so when I am looking for a player it would only show cards that I did not hide. I could have hide a lot of the cards. Back then it would have taken me time to hide all the cards I had. Now it would take a lot longer.

I collect only players from Nebraska football, at this time over 950 players with over 33,000 different cards. Which I have over 12,000 of them. The last time I did this I find a little over 3,300 in all the cards they had of my players.

I have now gone through one player (Ahman Green who has the most cards). I need about 20% of what they have listed. The good thing was I purchased 2 of them out-right and made offers on a couple more. The bad thing is I find out is one member has a lot of them and his prices are way too high for me. In-fact to me most of the cards are way out of line going by prices of better players in the same set.

Now on to my next player.

Pretty annoying that PSA doesn't match anything in inventory manager. Wouldn't be difficult for search to be more thorough. Trying to check quickly what all I'd have for unlisted from last national dropoff

Is anyone else getting an "The page isn’t redirecting properly" error message when logging into COMC?

Edit: Never mind, that was fixed fast.

Rather specific question, but anyone have experience submitting sketch puzzles? (Like marvel sketches that are composed of 2 or 4 separate cards, say).

First question is how would you include that physically in the shipping? (I know you'd normally just have the cards each in a sleeve, but should I combine them into something else, like the 4 cards comprising that sketch into one team bag (I know COMC is picky about how they receive cards and extra layers of stuff they're in). Will they even understand it's all supposed to be 1 sketch or will they process them as 4 sketches, which would not be ideal. Second question is if submitting a 4-card puzzle sketch through elite tier, would that count as 4 items or 1 item. Or would they consider it an 'oversize item' and do a surcharge that way. Thanks for any insights.

I'd put the cards in a team bag with a note.

I'd guess they would add the oversized fee. (as opposed to charging for 4 separate cards)

Thanks, good call with adding a note.

I have seen and purchased sketch puzzles on COMC before, but Im pretty sure they were direct from UD epack and already part of the system. Wasnt sure if they would understand what they are based on an incoming submission but hope it'll work out.

Definitely either send them a message before and see how they want to receive them, or include a note around the sketch groups to include as a lot. I've seen them process multiple sketch cards in a puzzle as individuals before.

Thanks- yea that would be pretty annoying. Unless the COMC intake person is pretty fluent in a niche thing like sketch cards, I could easily see it happening too. Will post about how it goes once I get it submitted.

I would 100% contact someone at COMC and try to work this out. It probably won't go the way you want.

My experience with adding notes to cards submitted, even at the elite level, generally doesn't do anything. The steps seem to be: remove the card from the sleeve, then check the grade, then scan then identify. I think the identification is often done by pics, and not by someone who has the card in hand, and not the person who is scanning the card.

I've had a lot of trouble with early Magic the Gathering cards for example where Alphas are misidentified as Beta and vice versa, even when the only cards I send in a batch are one or the other and each one has a sticky note indicating what set the card is from.

It's likely they will tell you that the 4 cards will be treated as 4 cards, and they don't bundle cards into lots. There are some cards (such as sketch cards) which you're better off selling directly on eBay because of issues like this.

It's possible that if you get an oversized toploader and put all 4 cards together in the toploader as one item that they might get the hint, but even then they're likely to treat it as 4 items once they're out of the toploader and it's also possible the cards could get some edge wear in transit.

if the sketch is in tact I'd be surprised that they'd have the nerve to process it as 4 different cards

Do COMC users who request shipping with rushed or express options get their items timely?

Yes. Only the cheapest option has been having significant delays

Generally it should be up within 5-7 days.

I'm redoing my watch list and I'm about 50% done. Just something that I have seen.

Have cards really gone up 10 times from a few years ago? There are cards I have purchased for $2 that people are asking $20 for them. I know it depends on the players and their are asking prices, but these are not ones that should jump that much. Maybe I should be selling if they are really going for the prices.
