Catlin Clark would struggle to start on a Division III Men's Basketball team. The physicality is just too much. And I say that as someone who has enjoyed watching the women's tourney this year.

Women's basketball teams practice against men because they can't find practice squad women good enough to challenge them So you have a group of intramural guys not even good enough to play D3 playing the best college women in the nation - and routinely beating them. Yes the women win scrimmages occasionally as well but trust me, not as often as the media wants you to believe.

It is a separate sport. No reason we can't enjoy both.

Yeah I can attest to this.

In my late 20's I played in a pickup game against a squad of girls basketball players from an SEC school. They were waaay more skilled then I was, but at the end of the day, it didn't matter. I was 6'3", 215 lbs, and decently athletic. I didn't even play basketball in high school, but just having that big of a size and strength advantage, I could effectively shut down any of them trying to get past me. I can just imagine what it would be like for a 6'8" athlete with actual NBA skill.

It’s not women. It’s men. Who are only interested for the gambling. The Iowa/LSU game was the most heavily bet women’s basketball game ever. This is all that matters in sports now.

So we went from Can't play in the NBA to Can't play Euroleague, Can't play G-League, Can't play DI, Can't play DIII. Tomorrow will be Can't play HS and Can't play in your local YMCA.

You aren’t wrong

I have money on both games tonight

Wouldn’t have cared 24 months ago

Although I would have cared a little based on the Clark story… but not as much

Lmao stop it

Bronny is 6’4 210 and built. He’s not NBA good but he would destroy her in a 1/1.

Watching the first half of the game, she doesn't look like a WNBA starter tonight.

My 70 year old mom is watching basketball for the first time. I don't know if that will transfer to the WNBA, but there are a lot of women watching college ball right now.

This is an ... interesting game. First women's hoops game I've ever watched.

UConn aint no joke... they are very similar to what a WNBA team would do. Geno ain't gonna let Caitlin walk all over him... he's the Nick Saban/Bill Belicheck of the Women's game... he's gonna do things to make you uncomfortable. Give him 4 days the plan... he's gonna come up something.

For sure, and I'm enjoying watching Clark, but you could see this coming with UConn. They are really out of sync, they did start better this half though.

Just seeing a great women's college team keep her in check should end any conversation about the NBA, not that it was ever serious to begin with.

I want Caitlin to win for other reasons, but the call on UConn was baloney. The refs in all sports taking matters in their own hands.

My wife and I watched while in the hot tub tonight. She couldn’t care less but she watched. I told her about the big 3 offer and said imagine her playing against nba sized/skilled men. She just laughed and said take the money. Sad the refs took over in the last 10 seconds. I wanted to see bueckers have a chance to win it.

Great game by Caitlin. Fantastic decision making all game along with the exception of two bad turnovers to the high post in the first half.

Competent layups-men or shooters would have given Caitlin 14+ assists.
