Just peeped the replay.

It was definitely an illegal screen. But as the refs, I don't know how you call it there. Not with the magnitude of the game and the situation. Don't let your whistle dictate the outcome.


That said, Geno and his girlettes crapped their pants and deserved to lose. Couldn't even secure the board after the second bricked Caitlyn free throw.

Prob not even most competitive men's high school. I don't know why, but too many people think there's not as much difference in physical ability between men and women as there really is. The women's 100m wr for example is 10.49. That wouldn't even be in camera if it was the men's race.

I have to say UConn ladies are very classy especially Paige Beuckers. At the press conference, she said she could of done a better job determining the game. Only the coach was the unhappiest, I'm starting to think he is like a Belichick.


The only way Caitlin can play with men if they modified the foul calls and chnage size of the basketball. Caitlin will get destroyed if she goes for a layup and when they try to block her drive. And setting picks, she may have a concussion. Size matters.

IDK of starting but being drafted and coming off the bench yes. I could see her averaging 11 points a game.

For what its worth. I was a HS girls coach. We had some really nice teams. End of the year I would bring in the boys on occasion. It was a controlled setting played in the half court. It was a pretty even matchup between an elite varsity girls group and freshman boys. If we turned it into a full court game, the table would lean more towards the boys.

AFAIK they didn't call an illegal screen all game. It's definitely sus to call one with 5 seconds left.

If they didn't make the call, and UCONN won, no one would be complaining about that "egregious" screen.

I think a question also is whether any man could start on a woman's team. I dunno, but either would definitely change how the game is played. Just as how having women referees have changed some aspects of officiating (not saying good or bad).
